MY WIFE IS IN HER 24th WEEK OF PREGNANCY. DOCTOR ADVISED HER TO CONTINUE THIS MEDICINE ECOSPRIN 150 MG...PLEASE ADVISE WHETHER IT IS SAFE TO TAKE THESE AND WHAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR IT?

My d inlaw has been prescribed for ecospin in pregnancy and she is in 8 weeks of pregnancy.Is it advissible to take at this stage.

My wife is 32 weeks pregnant.She has been taking ecosprin75 from 4th week. Blood pressure measures 140/80.She already had a miscarriage on 32weeks 2yrs6mons before. Doctor advises to stop ecosprin.Is it safe?

Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and when used in these cases, it is usually prescribed for its blood thinning ability to prevent clots from occurring.

It is sometimes used during pregnancy, because it has a lower rate of side effects than other drug alternatives, but she may still experience: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach pain.

It can also increase the risk of bleeding, however, as long as her doctor is monitoring her and knows she is on it, then there shouldn't be any problems.

my wife is also pregnanat and her due date is 17 april and today is 28 march 2011 by 3 of march her blood platelet count fell down to 55000 cu mm which is bad and doctor asked to stop taking ecosprin before one month as doctor explained it will result in excessive bleeding during delivery
in my opinion please consult your gynac i'm consulting purandare chowpatty and please take care as ecosprin till certain time is good later its bad so you need to know when to stop when the platelet go down it is called thrombocytopenia below 50000 is critical so please take care.....consult your doctor as this are my opnion your doc is always right .....

My wife is 31 weeks pregnant. On a routine visit to the doctor during her 7th month she was diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes. The doctor prescribed her insulin (dose 6-6-4 per day) and methyldopa tablets and kept her under obsevation in hospital for seven days. After that the doctor told her to continue the same medicines and gave ecosprin tablets(Calcium and folicacid also dere). Is these diabetc and blood pressure medicines safe on unborn baby? should i take any precautions?

I was using Ecosprin 75 MG till 3 months, after I was not taking continuesly because when I take it I will vomit after 3 - 4 hours, in vomit I can see the table is not getting digested.

When I consulted doctor told no need to stop using, I can take it in the night..
Even Now I am facing the same..

If I stop using will there be any problem to me or to my baby
