Under Tongue

just got subutex, round white pill. Do I swallow it or dissolve it like the orange ones i was getting before? Ive got the white round 8mg pill that im cutting into 4 pieces but dont know how to take it! under my tounge or like a regular pill and just swallow. Please help

well 2 days late, hope you already got answer. dissolve under tounge only. I also have 8mg,I break into 3pcs and sometimes break those pieces, I hate the taste. But you are not supposed to drink anything till dissolved completely. Also just fyi, I have been on it 6 mos. I have only really felt GREAT the last 4. I tried to stop against dr orders...DO NOT STOP, but do try to only stay on a month, the withdraw will be alot less and you will end up taking about a 1/4 pc every other day..etc. Only stop by cutting down. I have withdrawed from many drugs and this was not the worst withdraw but I am slowly tapering off under dr orders and near very end he said he will prescribe something for anxiety for only a week or so, but said my withdrawl will be alomost nothing.

Did the pharmacy provide any different instructions?

If not, then it would be safe to assume they are also sublingual tablets.

However, if you are unsure, you can post back with the marking and I will gladly check for you. There are a few on the market that are not meant to be used sublingually.

So if I let the subutex dissolve in my mouth and then swallow it, is that going to be effective?

Parkinsons disease for the last two years. Tongue gets bitten too frequentely under the teeth..
