Can some one tell me what these pills are I was told is tylenol with codeine comonly known as tylenol 3. Is that true doas that sound right??? ## Hello, Joshoa! How are you? I found a blue oblong tablet with the number 133 on one side and the letter v on the other side. what is it? ## From what you're describing it sounds like the Advance Pharmaceutical logo on one side, which is actually a small p in side a larger A (which does look like a V). You can see an image here. This is generic for Tylenol PM, and contains Acetaminophen 500 mg + Diphenhydramine 25 mg (pain reliever + sleep aid). My husband has multiple health issues including mild brain damage, CNS damage, Type 2 Diabetes with major neuropathy, Arthritis and CHF and Bollis Emphysema and acute Prostatisis He takes pain meds in the form of Tylenol 3, 8 tablets, taken at 2 tablets every 4 hours. have these pills that I know I've taken before nd I know they're an over the counter medication but I don't have the box they came in and the package they're in dont have anything but on the pill themselves it shows aaa 1136 ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listings for this, either. I found a white large oblong pill with a M in a box and 30 printed on the same side. Not an imprint, just printed. Is this like off brand Tylenol? ## No, there is no listing for any tablets with this marking that match this description. The M in a box is the logo used by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they do not print their logo on any of their products, they are all imprinted into the tablets. Thus, I think you might have found some fake tablets and it would most likely be best to just dispose of them. Is there anything else I can help with?

A few weeks ago doctor asked me to take a random drug screen. No problem since I don't have anything to hide. Never heard back from doctor, but I get this EOB from my insurance company saying the lab is charging $2,200 and that my portion will be $880!!! The only thing they were checking for (according to lab tech) was tylenol and codeine levels in my urine. I'm OUTRAGED!! I'm not a rich person, it would be hard to come up with $880 for a test I didnt need or ask for. Is this a problem with anyone else out there?

ok the pill is white in collar, and .25 dia by .5 or a little longer and has a half way divider mark in the middle of it and on the other side it has L 384 . ## Are you sure the marking is L 384? I haven't seen one with this marking, yet. However, what I can tell you is that it's an over the counter item. They are usually sold as the generics or store brands of various products, such as Tylenol or Advil. Does anyone else recognize this one? ## i know I have some. It is a generic migrane pill. I cannot remember if it was tylonal or advil version but I am thinking the ibuporphin migraine because that is usuyally what I get.

The same lot number is usually used for a certain production run of a drug, so for instance the same lot number might be used on 5 million bottles of Tylenol that were made on a certain day, on a certain factory shift. The manufacturer does keep track of where those lot numbers are sent, but as I am sure you can guess, that can equal many stores in various areas of the country. I've been suffering with back pain for a few years now. I think its mainly from doing physical labor all my life. Or just wear and tear. i have back problems an i was givin some by a freind ## Because pain medications tend to effect each person differently (due to various levels of pain tolerance and severity), you can't really tell someone "how" strong something like this is. What works for them may not have any effect on you, or vise versa. The Tylenol ER isn't necessarily stronger than other forms of Tylenol (in regards to potency). All it does is simply last longer, since it's an extended-release version of the drug. OTC meds like this also aren't really intended for severe pain issues, but it may help alleviate minor muscle aches & body pain, such as arthritis. I hope this helps!

Im guessing the strength of this pill is less than any over the counter Tylenol.. 325 vs 500 ## Actually, both of the doses you listed are over the counter strengths. The original Tylenol was 325mgs, the Extra Strength is 500mgs and there is a time released arthritis formulation that contains 650mgs. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. The 325mg dosage isn't purchased as often, anymore, so it's seen less frequently in most stores, but it is still available. Doses over 4,000mgs in a day can be fatally toxic, so anyone taking it should be very careful not to exceed the recommended dosing guidelines. Is there anything else I can help with?
