I have been on Tylenol 3 from my rheumatologist for 8 years. Now he says he can't give it to me because of the new regulations. I am home bound without this and in severe pain. Pointless to go to the hospital because they don't care about pain.

Can I take Tylenol p.m with morphine I had a morphine 30 I cut it n to 4ths and took a fourth then waited a hour and took another can I take 2 Tylenol p.m too? ## What formulation of Morphine are you taking? If it is the time released formulation, you should not be cutting it, because that creates the risk of your getting too much of the medication at once, which might result in overdose. The FDA warns that Morphine carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. As to taking it with the Tylenol PM, they can both cause sedation, so you may experience more dizziness and drowsiness than usual, thus it would be best to check with your doctor, before adding it, to make sure it is safe for you to do so. Is t...

found a medium blue oblong caplet pill (reminds me of a tylenol) has no imprints or markings on it. Any ideas what it could be? ## long blue caplet could be naproxen ## Yes, there are several possibilities, but without any markings, they are all really just guesses. It could be Naproxen, a generic or store brand of Aleve, as was stated. Learn more Naproxen details here. There's also a chance that it may be a generic or store brand for Tylenol PM (Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine) or Advil PM (Ibuprofen and Diphenhydramine). Learn more Diphenhydramine details here. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## Is it still in its package if so take it out cause the other side may swell have 44 453 if so it is a generic p...

Can I take norco 5-325 then 1 325 tylenol 5 hours later ## Hello, Pinky! How are you? You can do that, if it's okay with your doctor. You just have to be careful not to exceed 1,000mgs of the Tylenol/Acetaminophen in any 8 hour period and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period. The FDA classifies Norco as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for now.is anyone a Dr.or nurse giving this advise? ## Thanks for now.is anyone a Dr.or nurse giving this advise? Just curious.

I have tylenol4. With the number pn it # 437 ## Is that the complete imprint? There is no Tylenol 4 listed with this marking on it. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. There are, however, a couple of listing for round tablets that use this number. What color is it?

Can you take oxycodone/adap 5-325mg after taking Tylenol 1000mg? How soon can you take another dose? ## Hello, James! How are you? No, as directed by the FDA, it isn't safe to take more than 1,000mgs of Acetaminophen/Tylenol in any 8 hour period and no more than 3,000mgs in any 24 hour period. Taking more than that could result in overdose toxicity, which may cause fatal liver failure. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## James, When your prescription med contain 325 mg Tylenol (Acetaminophen) Do Not Take More Than One Extra Strength Tylenol (500 mg) OR Two Regular Strength Tylenol ( 325 x 2= 650) In An 8 Hour ...

I took a tramadol around 1 pm today. I now need another pain reliever, was wondering how long should I wait to take Tylenol with codiene? ## Hello, Jen! How are you? It is best to be cautious, because Tramadol can sometimes initiate withdrawals in people that are opiate dependent, if you try to mix them. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What dosage is the Tramadol that you're taking? Each 50mg dose of Tramadol is equivalent to 33.33mgs of Codeine, so your Tramadol might actually be stronger.

Trying to figure out what this pill is from a photo. Doesn't seem to have any markings on it but might be on the other side of the pill, however there are multiple pills in the photo and no markings on any of them. It seems to be a dark blue/purple color on half and the other half is cream tinted white. If you have any idea what this could be please help!! I don't believe the person who posted the photo is taking it for medical reasons so I'd also like to know if it might be a street drug?? Thank you ## Sounds like the same ones I got while in Mexico. They are tylenol/codeine. ## Mexican ultram/tramadol. Its a non opiod pain med used alot more since opiods are strongly abused. ## I see each of the last two posts are stating that this is something different than what the othe...

How much Tylenol do you take with a Watson 932 10 mg ## Hello, Lisamarie! How are you? You should not take any additional Tylenol with this medication, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How many Tylenol 3's equal op80 mg? ## Hello, Becka! How are you? It would take 800mgs of Codeine to equal each 80mg dose of Oxycontin, thus you couldn't possibly safely take enough of them, because that would be approximately 27 pills and that would result in an overdose, especially with the Acetaminophen in the Tylenol 3. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks Verwon. You helped a lot.

How long after taking Tylenol 3 is it safe to take Norco? ## Hello, Kellie! How are you? Have those both been prescribed for you? It's very uncommon for someone to be permitted to double up on the Acetaminophen that these both contain, due to the dangerous risks of overdose, which could be fatal. The FDA classifies this medications as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It would be best not to mix them, or to replace one with the other, if switching medications, at the next dosing time, with your doctor's approval. ## They like u to wait 4 to 6 hours before switching to another type of pain medication but there is actually no drug interaction bewtween th...

Dr switched me to Tylenol 4 from hydrocodone. It's making me itch with a rash. Why? ## Hello, Doug! How are you? With the itch, it is likely that you're having an allergic reaction and those just tend to get worse, with repeated exposure. Thus, you need to inform your doctor as this probably isn't a good medication for you to take. Other symptoms of an allergic reaction, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include dizziness, swelling and trouble breathing. Is there anything else I can help with?

Dose Tylenol 3 with codeine have sulfa?just wondering ## Hello, Chris! How are you? No, it contains Acetaminophen and Codeine. The FDA classifies it as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if someone is allergic to one medication, there is a risk that they may discover more that they are allergic to. Is there anything else I can help with?

I would like to know the difference is it the same ## Hello, Crissy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen, so yes, it is just a generic. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have a broken rear tooth and infection that is very painful. I will be seeing my dentist tomorrow, but he has prescribed me Tylenol 3, once every 3-4 hours. About a year ago for a similar problem he prescribed me Norco, which I still have a few left. I've taken 3 T3 today, but am wondering if it would be ok for my next dose, which will be in about 3 hours, could I switch to Norco? I've read that Norco is more powerful than the T3, and I'd obviously prefer to have as little pain as possible before I see my dentist. ## Hello, Sam! How are you? Yes, you should be able to do that, as long as your dentist or doctor approves. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzine...

wondering what this pill is that i found, it is a white oval pill with 44-338 on one side and plain on the other side. ## Has anybody found the answer to this ? ## No, I am not certain what it is, but I can tell you that it is definitely an over the counter med, not a prescription product. These pills marked with the 44 followed by other numbers are manufactured by LNK International, they only make over the counter products which are sold by various stores as their store brands or generic. Most of them turn out to be a version of Tylenol-- Acetaminophen, but I have found others to be a generic for Aleve, Tums, Sudafed and a few others. These are hard to find, being over the counter there are just far too many to keep track of, so no one has a real comprehensive database, they just aren...

Is this Tylenol 4? It was prescribed but the other brand had a 4 on it with M on the other side. ## Hello, Maria! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 60mgs of Codeine and 300mgs of Acetaminophen. Generic medications are usually manufactured by several different companies, because it helps to create market competition and keep prices lower, so whichever one your pharmacy carries could vary, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My dentist prescribed Tramadol hcl 50mg, Ibuprofen 800 mg and Tylenol for tooth pain. I am concerned about taking all three of them at once because I drive a school bus. Safety is my concern for kids as well as my own. ## Yes & No--you can take/do anything as long as "nothing goes wrong" 100% if you have an accident there will be a blood drawn even if it is absolutely not even your fault --so read your employment manual --you may be totally legally prohibitted. Regardless, see how it effects you BEFORE your maiden vouyage on meds. Take the tramadol during the day-- it's so low dose I can't imagine you having a problem ! Codeine makes a person sleepy -- I would not take that during the day while driving if you've not taken medication before save that one for bedti...
