No, you should not double up on the Acetaminophen, taking too much of it in a day, or in any 8 hour period, could result in overdose toxicity, which can be fatal.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

However, you could try asking your doctor to prescribe something without the Acetaminophen in it.

Is there anything else I can help with?

You are fortunate that your doctor actually prescribed something that would help you with the pain. As long as you take as directed there should be no problem and you will not be in terrible pain. If there are problems call your doctor. AND DO NOT DRIVE until you know you are okay behind the wheel.

Not a problem. Tylenol boosts hydrocodone slightly and if included in many hydrocodone mixtures. They just don’t want u to take too much Tylenol flue to liver and kidney problems. It is 100% safe! My dentist told me to do it!
