Tylenol Severe Allergy Discontinued

Why was this Tylenol product taken off the market? My husband & I both used this product and it really worked. I asked a Weis pharmacy employee and they couldn't tell me why it is no longer available. They suggested contacting the company. Is there something else available to replace this product in the Tylenol line?

As to Tylenol Severe Allergy, one of its ingredients was Pseudoephedrine and all medications that contain it are now only available at the pharmacy counter, where you have to ask for them, sign for them and show identification to make the purchase.

Many manufacturers lost sales due to this restriction, so they either pulled them from the market or changed the formulations to no longer contain the Pseudoephedrine.

I am not sure if Tylenol still has a similar product available, but there are some available from other companies, as well as generics and store brands.

Just ask at your pharmacy counter and they should be able to help you.

I've been using Acetaminophen Severe Allergy (yellow caplets) for many years! I've tried every thing else, but I get very nervous, heart palpitations, dizziness, etc. Please tell me which pharmacy I can go to so that I can buy them, or if I can get them through mail order. It's been one month + that I've been without them, and my allergy has gotten worse! Thanks
