It used to be 12 tablets of 10 mg norco . Now I am being told it is only 6 tablets. Does anyone know.

Yes, that is correct. New regulations were put in place last year that restrict how much of any medication can be prescribed, except in the case of people with terminal illnesses, such as those with stage 4 cancer.
