Trimebutine Equivalent In The Us

What is the closest equivalent to Trimebutine in the US? I have a close friend that was stabilized and had excellent results with Trimebutine. However he can't find it in Egypt anymore... Can he find an alternative in Egypt or in the states? He visits the states very often and he buys many of his medications in the US.

Trimebutine belongs to the class of medications called spasmolytics; and is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (i.e. a spastic colon). It's a drug with antimuscarinic and weak mu-opioid agonist effects.

In 'Amoun, Egypt' the brand name for Trimebutine is listed as "Gast Reg". However, I've yet to come across any specific details on a USA brand name, so hopefully he can locate Gast Reg in his area.
