Trileptal Works Great

I just started using ic oxcarbazepine a week ago. I take 150mg twice a day and it started kicking in within the first few days of taken the medication. Normally most psych medications take two weeks to kick in but my doctor told me I would notice a difference within the first few days then notice more of a major difference as time goes on. I have been on a bunch of different psych medications which have taken almost a month to work for me but I strongly recommend anyone to have they're doctor prescribe them ic oxcarbazepine ( generic brand of trileptal ) for bipolar disorder or depression because you will notice the change within the first couple days.

Hello, Angie! How are you doing? I am very glad that this medication works so well for you.

Not all medications work for everyone that tries them, but the only way to discover what works for you is by trying it.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this one as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and mood swings.

My husband has been on it for a couple of years now, for focal point seizures and it has worked great.
