Tricor Uses

I need lots of info on Tricor, What is it used for and what are the side effects? ## I have been on TriCor for 10 years and have not experienced any side effects. It has worked very well for me and I am taking it in conjunction with a BP medication (Diovan). Also without any problems. Hope this little bit of info helps you. ## Fenofibrate (sold under the brand names Tricor, Fenobrat etc.), is an oral medication of the fibrate class used to treat abnormal blood lipid levels. Helps reduce cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood Common side effects include liver problems, breathing problems, abdominal pain, muscle problems, and nausea. capsule shaped tablet with FO on one side and the Abbott logo on the other ## Teva Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as being a 145mg Tricor tablet, which contains the active ingredient Fenofibrate, it is used to help lower cholesterol. NDC code: 00093-2060 Inactive ingredients may include: polyvinyl alcohol titanium dioxide magnesium silicate xanthan gum docusate sodium sucrose sodium lauryl sulfate lactose monohydrate microcrystalline cellulose crospovidone magnesium stearate hypromelloses The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. I have a Rx pill that is white, and it is a long oval, with the capital letters FO imprinted on one side, and an emblem that I cannot describe, other than a squared-off E on the other side. ...what is it prescribed for? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. That logo is intended to be an a, Abbott commonly uses it on their products. Are there any questions?

Egfr And Prescriptions

My eGFR shows a level of 50; my Creatinine, Serum is 1.46 and my BUN/Cr raion is 14. I take Tricor, Lovaza, Pravastatin for lipids and Lisinopril for blood pressure. What does my eGFR indicate? ## My trigylcerides are held in check by Tricor. A year ago, my lab numbers showed Creatinine at 1.22 and last week was 1.46; eGFR listed as >59 last year and only 50 last week. Carbon Dioxide down to 19 last week from 22 a year ago. So, on Monday 2/7 Dr had these specific issues retested. Oddly, Creatinine now back to 1.23; eGFR above 60; not sure yet about Carbon Dioxide. Still using Tricor, thru all these tests. Why did numbers go to bad levels and return? ## I'm a diabetic, my bun level is 19, my creatinine level is 1.22, should I be worried.

pain pill ## Is the medication, SENOSIBRATE, a generic for TRICOR ? ## my sis has recurring cancer & is scheduled for surgery on the 9th .. in a lot of pain, doctor gave her a shot of dilotid today .. what does this mean ? ## Dilaudid is a narcotic analgesic that contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone and is used to relieve pain. Is Senosibrate a substitue for tricor?

Is Senosibrate a generic for tricor 145? ## I am assuming you mean Fenofibrate and yes, it is the active ingredient in Tricor, so it would be the generic for it. Zenacol 120mg

Diet pill ## I would like to take something that would be safe for me to take since I have lost 70 lbs but I am putting the weight back on...I am taking tricor for cholestrol and wanted to know if I can take zenacol diet pill ## I did not find any interactions listed, but the smartest thing to do would be to ask your doctor or pharmacist. Has your doctor recommended that you use it?
