I ordered Tramadol thru the mail and was sent these small, oblong, white pills. Stamped on one side is APO, other side is stamped TR/50. This doesn't look anything like I've ever seen for Tramadol. No I don't agree with much pain medications, I have R.A., rheumatoid arthritis, and fibromyalgia, and only take tramadol when it's absolutely gets unbearable, I have learned to live with ALOT OF PAIN, but when it comes to my stress that was handed down from generations......THERE IT NOT ANYTHING THAT EVEN CLOSLY COMPARES TO XANAX........just read the articles YOURSELF........DOC'S AND ALL. And believe me, yes you can certainly sue a Doc over cutting you off of xanax....unless you were either abusing or selling em!

I contacted the pharmacy that I have used for tramadol the last year or so to see if they were still offering tramadol. I was told they would ship me the same med for the same price but it would now be labeled as gabapentin instead. Has anyone else come across this and actually recieved tramadol? Was given this to replace OTC pain meds. too 2 at 2pm, and a further 2 at bedtime Alarm got me up at 4 to go to work, on getting out of bed got cold sweats, had a shower to pull myself together. Drove 5 miles stopped at gas station to vomit due to motion sickness I think. got to office lay on the floor of my office and slept for 2 hours. Was woken by a co worker, on getting up off the floor again vomited. Sipped week tea and by 1230 was "ok" to drive home, there I slept for 4 hours and was spacy until midnight. took till mid morning the following day for me to feel human again. Doctor forgot to tell me to take 1 to see how they work for me. I have been on tramadol for many years, usually the Mylan brand ( a round flat pill with an M on one side and T7on the other). I have never has any issues, It has always worked well with no problems. Last month, my pharmacy switched to a horrible cheaper generic ( a larger capsule shaped pill with 377 on it, made by Caraco. I started noticing that i was in increasing amounts of pain and had other issues. It was making me miserable and upset. I asked my sis who had gotten the same kind (377) of inferior tramadol if she was having problems too and was having the same issues. We both returned the defective tramadol to the pharmacy and got our regular brand and were back to normal within hours. So PLEASE be aware that 377 tramadols by Caraco are NOT the same quality as others. i would avoid...

I have a low tolerance to pain and a high tolerance to opoids. 8 years ago I hurt my back, suffered a Lisfranc fracture of left foot with med-foot fusion, and now permanent nerve damage down my left leg due to complications. Wa. St. legislature has decided that they know better about my pain than I or my DR do. I have been forced to reduce to 90 Mg total per day and am in severe pain again, and now have arthritis in my left hip as well. Will Tramadol or something else help me? Yesterday I found out from my doctor that I will no longer be able to get refills on the only drug that I have found that works to relieve arthritis pain that has no side affects for me. I am in the process of composing a letter my congressman to express my displeasure with the DEA's decision to make Tramadol a controlled substance with no expectations of anything but lip service in response. It seems to me that the government agency that is in charge of keeping illegal drugs from entering our country and apparently can't make a dent in that, has chosen a lot easier target, older Americans with Arthritis . I don't know how all doctors do this, but from my experience.. if the Dr. does allow refills, you'd normally find a date written on the prescription label with a check mark or intitials next to "refills". Sometimes you'll also see on the label that it says "30 day supply" (at which point you'd be out of your medication), depending on how many tablets your doctor instructed you to take within a 24hr period. I hope this helps! ## If you have 180 tramadol (50 mg pills), you can get a refill in 22 days. So, you could probably request the refill about 19 or 20 days after you have received your medication. Ok I have a slipped disc and lower back pain disc pushed pain to my knees and I was perscibed the hydroco/acetaminop 5 325 even takin two this didn't put a dent in my pain been on oxy tramadol.. some help for a few days max then I had to double n that only worked once or twice any req.. btw waiting for surgery ## call your doctor! they can give you hydroco/acetminophine 10/325 which is stronger than taking 2 5/325 or they can give you percocet 10/325 which would prob work alot better for you! dont be afraid to tell your doctor when your in pain and what works for you! doctors can not read minds.I wish you luck with your surgery! my husband just had his done and the pain was gone instantly!!

My husband has artheritis and is taking tramadol twice a day (50mg.) his dr. said he would take one every 4 hrs but he doesn't, so maybe that's why it does not help the pain very much... can he also take orycodine/500ms. acetaminphen with the tramadol ## Hello, Lillie! I was prescribed tramadol five years ago for osteoarthritis in both knees. Took the prescribed amount for almost three years and then started menopause. Tramadol helped so much with all of the symptoms of the menopause, I started to take more and more. The first time I went without was the worst time of my life. I can handle the physical stuff but the depression and feeling that there is nothing to look forward to horrific. The depression that came with the menopause was the reason I started all this.
