Tramadol For Anxiety

I'm looking for a doctor in nh that is willing to prescribe me tramadol for my anxiety. I'm not some kind of pill junky, and am willing to have pills counted monthly to show I'm not abusing. I have found this to be a very effective way of dealing with life's daily anxietys. Just need a doctor that is willing to hear me out

Since Tramadol is an opiate analgesic, it's going to be difficult to find a doctor that will prescribe it for anxiety. It's not approved to treat such a condition and their prescribing practices are very closely monitored.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

You'll most likely need to see a specialist for your anxiety and it is highly doubtful that Tramadol is on their list of medications to prescribe.

Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that might be able to refer you to someone that can help?

What is your general location? Perhaps someone can recommend a doctor in your area.
