Bricks. I had been told that it is pretty much USPS causing the delays and I actually believe that bec. they seem to have these "issues" ALL the time. Hope they get their crap situated. Thanks again.

Unfortunately, there's no way this law is getting overturned. Truthfully, the fact that tramadol was sold without a face to face consult with a dr was not a very well known phenomenon, and if it had been, they would've rallied to end it a long time ago. Even though many people are responsible with it, it is not safe to sell it on the Internet. Anyone can get a bottle of strong painkillers with a narcotic effect and also risk having seizures, even 14 year old kids. Theres just no way this is getting reversed, sorry. I wish it would for all of our sakes, but kids getting a hold of these without a doctors visit is very dangerous. No amount of petitioning is going to help. Just order overseas in bulk.

David, quite frankly, you're a moron. You have to be a "junky" to pay $150 for a bottle of tramadol?? Um, you take 180 a month! By the way, how much do you pay for your doctors visit?? Right. Well over $150 if you don't have insurance. You're just a judgemental person that likes to put down people without health insurance because you have it. If you had any sense, you would've calculated out the cost of a doctors visit, whatever testing needed to be done to confirm the need for tramadol, and the pills themselves. You think you would pay less for all that than $150 without insurance?
Also, skimming your moronic novel, I noticed you also think that because you're pharmacy didn't run out, there's no shortage. News flash, know-it-all: your pharmacy does not in any way represent all the pharmacies in the country. By the way, those places you "refuse to call pharmacies", get their meds from the same EXACT place your pharmacy does. It's always the least educated people that try to insult people more knowledgable, but you will always end up looking the way you do now- stupid. Have a nice day.

David: one more thing. Do some research before you start accusing people of illegal activity, genius. Getting tramadol online IS legal and IS prescribed by a licensed, US physician. You just whined about being called a junkie, then you call others who probably all take LESS than you do. Wow, you're brilliant. Save your ridiculous nonsense for people who care what you have to say.

I am going to have to back up what AngiKay is saying. Thats why I pay the high prices. Its cheaper to do that than to pay my doctors office visit prices and the bloodwork, ekg, etc... I do see him once a year and just pay off the bill in payments as a matter of fact, I just saw him two days ago and of course got my script so i dont have to deal with these shortages and high prices..
so David, don't be so quick to judge others.
Im going to have to say that Davids post didn't effect me at all but I knew some of my forum friends here what be livid and say enough for all of us.
"why can't we all just get along"
cheers

I fully intended on added more info. where David is concerned, but law lady... you clearly wrapped it up. Right on and very informative. That should give him something to ponder for the rest of the day at least. Besides coming up with more sarcastic, untrue remarks. I guess if I was to go to specific thread throwing my two cents around, I'd for sure get my facts straight first. Thanks lawlady.

you know ive been pretty quiet for a few weeks here....every once in a while I still pop on to see whats been happening, and Ive also met some great friends on here that have really turned out to be great people...NONE of which are "junkies". I love people who dont frequent the site, decided to jump on and cast judgement...and I assure you its judgement...not opinions. when you throw around the word JUNKIE...its judging. Judging people without knowing their situation. Most of us are here for a common reason...support....and gain knowledge and info. As for DAVID...im not going to lash out at you in anger, because I truly dont know your situation and I DONT know you....as you dont know me...BUT I will tell you this. I have been on tramadol for many years now due to spinal fusion. years ago, going to the doctor, was not only easy but necessary for me. as times changed, I lost my insurance because I could no longer afford it....which also means I cant afford then to go to a doctor unless it was something "life-threatening", so that means no scripts. but....what do I do about the everyday pain I live with...simple tylenol isnt gonna do it...so like most of us here, I fall into the category of ordering from online pharms....do I like having to order from online pharms...NO...would I rather be able to afford a DR and reg RX hell yea...but not everyone is like you David and can be that lucky. and David....do a bit of homework...read online about the tramadol/ultram shortages....its not just these "internet pharmacies" that its happened to....its happened most recently, as NOV to your well known pharmacies, such at CVS...and more importantly to the privately owned "town" pharmacies. but with the larger commericial pharms, theyre replentished more quickly. Although David, you may have an opinion, I feel that in this case, it wasnt an opinion at all. but as Ang, Traci, and LawLady stated, more of a cast of judgement upon others....in which i find no want or need for it here at this forum.

Philanthropically "helping one another" is great...but legally and personally...it's a different story. I have been compelled to offer to send done of my stash to people when I see how bad they are suffering, but legally that is against the law. I have also been compelled to provide the contact info if my source but like I said before....my source does NOT want to be mentioned on these boards because they are full of undercovers. And if you are other states it is a controlled substance and accepting tramadol via the mail, you should be familiar with the laws of the state you are in because generally, a face to face consultation is required if it is a controlled substance. So putting your source out there and saying they are shipping to you in a controlled state, gives undercovers a motive to act like they are one of "us" for the sole purpose of getting the info to shut the source down. Them when you can't get your meds in a state that it is legal for the source to be sending to you...you are going to really be hurting. So philanthropically, I'm sure we all want to help. But putting the names and numbers of our sources out there is hurting them. Which speaks to the phrase "don't bite the hand that feeds you". My source came from years of using the online pharmacies and then receiving calls and using them. They came through for me when all the onlines shut down. I noticed two of my sources on the boards and now only one of them will respond because for some reason the other thinks I am the one putting his name up here. I am not the one that did it, but I don't blame him for being mad. Most sources really don't want you putting their names and numbers up anymore because, like I said, not everyone who complains of pain and withdrawals is really "one of us". So my way of "helping" is to let you know that sharing your source is not always helping. Sharing your troubles and ways to alleviate withdrawals is very helpful, atleast in my perspective. Just be smart...you never know who is on the other side of the conversation when you are online

Notcharlotte- I strongly advise you to read the laws of your state in particularly. If the state holds that it is a controlled substance, then generally a face to face consultation is required. If tramadol is placed on the list of Federal controlled substances then it will become a federal offense to obtain the drug without a face to face consultation. If you are in a state that the face to face consultation is not required, then you are fine. No problems at all. However, there are several posts on here that suggest that there are sources that will ship to people in states that tramadol is controlled. If they do, then they are acting contrary to the laws of that state and posting them on a public forum sets them up to be investigated. Then it doesn't matter if you are acting within the laws if your state, because you no longer have a source. That is why I warn against posting your source. Even if there is nothing eluding to a source shipping to a controlled state, they will undoubtedly be investigated and if found to be breaking the law, they will be shut down. At the least, they will be investigated and harassed. No one wants that for our sources. If you are receiving packages from overseas, there are several legal issues that can come up but the main thing to remember is that the United States has no recourse against a foreign country unless they have some kind of treaty with the country. Still then, they will not waste their time and money prosecuting persons in a foreign country. They will focus on the person initiating and funding the transaction. There is no "privacy" when the package goes through customs. They can open your package and look at the contents. Due to the small scale nature of your ordering, it is likely that they would just confiscate the package and send you a note telling you that due to the nature of the contents they would like you to come and pick the package up at customs. Most people of course don't go pick it up and it is destroyed. However if the drug were to become a controlled substance on the FCS list, you could anticipate greater response. The bottom line is you should be aware of the laws and what you are doing because ignorance of the law is no defense. I speak from a personal sense in saying that I know the laws in my state and fully educated on telemedicine practices and questionnaires as sufficient means of obtaining prescriptions. I continue to use them as a means of obtaining my medications. However, I will not compromise or place my source at risk by plastering their info on a public forum. No matter how legitimate they are, it still puts them at risk for harassment and investigation and inevitable delay in receipt of my medication. So I apologize if I made you feel paranoid about the legalities you personally may face, my intention is only to make you recognize that you should know the laws of the state you are in and think very carefully about disclosing your sources and your personal involvement with them on a public forum. I doubt this site will allow me to post a website address so I will try on another post. It is a very informative site regarding telemedicine on a federal level. If you would like to disclose your state I can research the telemedicine laws for you particular to your state.

Ok guys as stated many times before we are all in the same situation. So how do we talk about these things among ourselves and not let everyone know our business? If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I do look to many people in here as my friends and would not want to see anything happen to anyone. Any ideas please let me know.

I agree with you Ang & Kym... It just seems that its gotten to the point that too many people take offense to too many things...or you have "wanderers" who browse the forum and feel the need to post negative remarks or slander a few because we take tramadol. I have a few friends here that we have been able to keep in constant contact daily .....just let me know.

Wow what a conversation! I've been away a while and didn't realize the thread had exploded like this. You should see some of the other forums where sources are plastered all over the place and some are praised like gods. I'm surprised law enforcement hasn't busted them. It is truly scary though, I feel like I am treading on a fine line of being busted, it's a horrible feeling! I too have tried to get off trams but the withdrawal is hell. I can take the physical part of it but the depression whips my butt!!!

Has anyone heard of tramadol capsules that are called Altrama? They are orange and white capsules that come in blister packs with altrama written on the pack. They are from India. I got them for a good price and I'm just wondering if they are the real deal? Or how safe they are? They look pretty legit but ya never know.

Its wrong to do this with a medicine that causes possible death from withdraw...I dont care what the law is its wrong. So who do we hold accountable for this? But I did find the info helpful....its still just wrong...also I wonder how this drug is non addictive if it causes severe withdrawal symptoms. Clearly I have more research to do :)
