Tramadol Hcl 50 Mg Tab Mylan (Page 7)
Updatedone side of pill is a M and the other side of the pill is T7
I have a condition called Meralgia Paresthetica and have been taking hydromorphone for at least 2 and a half years. The pills no longer work so my Dr.
prescribed tramadol hcl 50 mg. Is this pill a narcotic also ?
Trying to find out more on the narcotic before one's actually administered the narcotic.. Some side effects can be DEADLY...
Worse pain reliever every I have taken 2 for a broke thumb the pain is terrible mite as well take Motrin I'm getting no relive what so ever
Does cutting the 50mg cause it to give severe side affects.Burning my skin sleepiness weakness blurred vision? This has lasted for 4 days now
I know someone who has just taken 12 citalopram 40mg along with 12 tramadol 50mg i dont know if i should seek medical attention for them
I agree.. I took myself off the 50mg of tramadol and now take 2 NT Advil 2 hours before bed time. I use some ice packs on my wound during the day and get by OK. I felt awful on tramadol and don't want to go through the withdrawal again. I was flopping around in bed like a fish out of the water.
I have Tramadol 50mg-generic for ultram 50mg tablets. Dose is 1 tablet every 6 hours. I do not see the hcl that is mentioned in most of the other posts. Is my Tramadol different from the hcl Tramadol? My tablet has 319 on the pill. One tablet doesn't help my Arthritis & Scoliosis, can I take two tablets at a time? .
I get headaches every day. The Dr. prescribed 25ng morphine 3xday. It seems to make my headache worse. I'm seeing a new pain specialist tomorrow, and would like to be on Tramodol prn-works for my brother. I also have moderate spinal stenosis. Is this worth a try?
You should ALWAYS use the same Pharmacy for all of your medications even the over the counter meds. Physicians prescribe, HOWEVER, They often make mistakes. I am a Nurse Practitioner. I ALWAYS, always, trust my Pharmacist. HE/SHE, are the ones who specialize in contraindications, interactions, allergies, etc.... NEVER, ASK THE DOCTOR. TRUST THE PHARMACIST ONLY, oh, and make sure to ask to speak to the Pharmacist ONLY, not the pharmacy tech, or the Pharmacy intern. SPEAK TO THE PHARMACIST ONLY.
Tramadol hcl 50mg is an outstanding pain reliever, which falls under the category of narcotic analgesics. It is available online in the form of capsules which gives the benefit of fast onset of action. It is used to combat moderate to severe pain. It is helpful in dealing pain associated with injury, surgery, inflammation, vascular disorders, trauma, clinical or laboratory diagnostics, etc.
You may be having a rebound effect from the medication. What type of headaches do you have? Tension, migraine, blood pressure related, there are so many factors that you didn't mention. Is your pain management Dr. a Neurologist? I'd like to guide you in the correct direction but need to know more.
You are correct. However, patients with questions should speak with their Pharmacist.
My name is Mark. I recently have had great success with 50 mg.'s Tramadol upon waking in the a.m.'s. Usually with my occasional 1/2 glass of morning O.J., and my daily 1st cup of coffee. Please, allow me to say, I admire everyone's courage to express their experiences on this site (rxchat.com......-might wanna write it down) Anyway. I'm 50+ in age, and have a history of osteo-arthritis in my left knee area (from sports, work, 'n Living), and tendinitis in my right wrist area (from the factory years back in the day). I am 5' 9" tall, + / - 215 lbs, I smoke roughly 17 cigs per day. I have mild hereditary Bi-Polar syndrome (well treated & monitored by choice). I walk frequently (1-5 miles per day ) and love working and playing in the outdoors. Yes, a lot of personal information, I know this. Now, here's the thing. I also have been through the ropes of alcohol/drug recovery at various points in my own life. I don't judge, and I'm easy to talk to about such matters. With that being said, I take another 50 mg.'s of Tramadol (sometimes only 25 mg, as I break them in half.). Combined with my LOW, daily dose of Depakote (which I've taken for many a Moon for Manic depression control - 1500 mg.'s), I've had relatively no extreme side-effects, and Great Peace throughout my days. There's very little pain in my wrist, and my knee is hardly an issue at all. Also, I've gotten off the "Celebrex (knee) for about 2 months now, and additional over the counter pills are fine when needed ( Occasional sinus, body, or common cold pain, bruises, or sprains, etc., etc.). That's the issue!! You see, except for "The Needle" or really, really extreme alcohol abuse- I've been there !! So, for this "Old Unc", I'm going to take it a day at a time. I feel it important to Engage in regularly scheduled appointments with my PCP, therapists, and remind family and friends of my current condition. At some point, despite the pain, we have to be Honest with ourselves and to a Trusting Doctor, know our limitations, strengths, and weaknesses and trudge forward. Often times, we forget - THIS is PERSONAL PAIN management. It is, no matter the level of success, Important to us all. Don't give up!!!! I won't. Thanks people. Hit me up at {edited for privacy}. It's kool.
There are a lot of armchair doctors giving bad and wrong information on this site. But I will answer this one as rightly as possible. Tramadol is an opioid that works on the mu receptors. It is a prodrug in that it works initially in its pre metabolized form but is even more effective once it is metabolized by the liver. Unlike other opioids, it also inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine (weakly) so it acts like prozac or venlaxafine as a mood elevator. That is why you had the response you did. It is perfectly usual and is one of the reasons this drug is so efficacious, particularly with fibromyalgia and nerve/spine pain. Having said that, it works differently on different people, and there is a variance in its effect from one generic company to another.
No relief from my pain
I do get relief when I take Percocet or Norco. Why do you think that is? And tramadol gives me a headache!
Thank You for the response. I'm sure I'll participate in these conversations again soon. Best wishes to everyone out there taking meds of any kind. And a sincere offer of gratitude towards those of you that make, study, or even distribute meds.
One last reply ( and question ) I'm rather new to this Med Chat sight, so please forgive me if I get too detailed. ( probably the bi-polar thing, lol ) But anyway, I've noticed people on either side of the conversation use the term Opioid .......then lately, I've seen the term opiate pop-up throughout several conversations. From a pro's stand-point- What's the difference ?? Thanks again to you all out there that have the bravery to be honest on this sight.
Tramadol will not work for chronic pain.
Do not be fooled,it's a strong Tylenol and thats about it.
