I just started taking the tramadol hcl 50mg. My doctor changed my scrip from norco to this and well i woulf like to know if the Tramadol will start to work for pain soon since it has yet to work in controlling my pain or this just that im may have gotten addicted to the norco. I still have so much pain i am unsure what to do since my doctor said that he was switching my meds so that i would not become addicted to the norco but from what i have read about the Tramadol it is just as addictive is that true?

I am going through withdrawals from 3 months of 8mg of suboxone. I weened myself off as the doctor instructed. It is now day number 10 with no relief in sight. I went to another doc and they prescribed me Tramadol. I've never taken them before and the last thing I want is to go through another set of withdrawals to get over sub withdrawals. I also have 7 mg percs those I have taken and know the withdrawal is better then subs. I have to go to work tonight there's no way I can miss anymore. I'm only going to take the minimum to get through but don't know which is worse?

I was taking it for perc withdrawals but I was only taking 20 mg of perks a day. I think the doc was crazy to put me on subs the withdrawal from them is just as bad and last 4 times as long. I took 10 mg of perk last night and felt good for the first time in weeks. Slept 8 hrs and woke up a little worn out but still feeling better. Im going to do this for the next 3 days then nothing. Can you get addicted to 10mg of perks for 3 days? I'm going through withdrawals during the day and only using it for work.

U are only still feeding ur habit. U may as well be starting over. The best u can do is take the 10 for 2 days and then split the other one and 5 one nite and 5 the last nite.

I did start feeling my habit once I started the perk again. I'm not holding them my very supportive and sober boyfriend is. He gives me 2 a day which I hold on to till work. That isn't easy cause I feel the stomach aches all day. I want off everything but I also need my job. He won't give me anymore after tonight and I no longer have contact with anyone who has them. I just can't believe I'm on day 12 and still feel sick.

I followed the docs instructions. It was just to long I had to work. I have one more day of work then managed 4 more days off. 4 days and the perks withdrawals should be gone I'm hoping the suboxone will be as well by then. If I take tramadol to sleep during the rls is that bad? I can't not sleep I'll go nuts.

I was given Tramadol HCL 50 mg for pain after sinus surgery/tonsillectomy. I did not notice that the Tramadol gave me any pain relief. I also looked online at vaughns-1-pagers.com/medicine/painkiller-comparison.htm. I don't even know why this is considered a pain killer because it is not giving me any relief. Are others getting benefit from this or is it just me?

Mylan is the best, most potent, of all generics, if you can't afford brand name Ultram.
Ultram is going Schedule IV as a controlled drug in many states (about 10) Wiki has an accurate accounting of the states where Ultram is now controlled.
It is not FEDERALLY controlled yet, but only in certain states, but there is a fast moving wave moving among most states to move it to IV.

I wouldn't it's addictive and causes brain shocks. Look into any drug you take before you take it. A headache isn't as bad as a 10 day withdrawal. Try taking over the counter migraine med try everyone till you find one that works for you.

I was at one time on the same maxalt and tramadol and was advised by my pharmacist NOT to take tramadol and maxalt on the same day.. if taking maxalt one day, skip tramadol ...if tramadol needed next day but still having migraines, you should contact BOTH prescribing dr's.
I had a bad reaction by mistakenly taking both one day in a 'migraine fog' state of mind...was sick from it for days

I started taking Tramadol HCL 50 mg for pain and although I think it does help quite a bit, it still leaves a lot to be desired. I have 3 fractured vtb in my spin along with several other injuries. I also self medicate on the side with marijuana and hash wax mixed together. I am also on several medications for my bad heart. So far, I have found NO interactions - HOWEVER - and I can't stress this ENOUGH: Be very careful of the drugs you mix together. It could be too late to find out you have an allergic reaction to something. In fact, it could be a lot more dangerous than you would suspect. So be very very careful about mixing drugs. I am also taking lexapro to help with my PTSD and anxiety. This all works for me, and yet, it still leaves something to be desired. That is how bad my pain is. I have lived with it for years and I am not going to live with it anymore. So: before you do anything, seek medical advice; talk to your doctor. Don't just take someone's word for it because what might work for them, might be very dangerous to you.

I am back on Tramadol HCL ER 100mg/x3 daily.
As far as mixing with Pot, I've experienced zero side effects or reactions, but then again the Tramadol doesn't work as per it should anyways.
It's terrible for withdrawal. For me the brain shocks lasted 3 months. I've detoxed from OxyContin many times and yet I consider that to be less tortuous.
IMO Tramadol is far more useful as an antidepressant than it is at relieving physical pain, as it's an SNRI anyways.

Both my kids were born autistic I was taking this medicine while pregnant and the doctor knew and said it was OK to take.
