Toxic Heavy Metals In Adhd Meds
UpdatedEver since the Healthcare Reform my 13 year adhd med is counterfeit and loaded with toxic heavy metals. Not one cell of dextroamphetamine Sulfate in it. I've returned 30. My qol is hell, I am more disabled than ever while the drug companies are getting richer for poisoning us. They, along with political "leaders" should be imprisoned for human rights violations as well as falsely propagandizing wars that have no merit.

Hello, Joy! How are you?
How do you know that they contain toxic heavy metals and no active ingredient? Have you had them lab evaluated?
The FDA classifies this medication as a stimulant, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, weight loss, anorexia and insomnia.
I have lab results due to emergency primary doctor visits as a direct result of the placebo, severe edema, mental anxiety, new high blood pressure, due to the corrupted and misrepresented Teva, formerly "Barr" Dextroamphetamine Sulphate medication.
Teva is not the only culprit as I have returned 8 others. I am writing my politicians, president, and anyone who is honestly concerned with human rights, health, and ethics.
Jack,
In no way am I discounting your personal struggle as it pertains to the current climate of this war on prescription meds. I witness the results of this especially restrictive war on Opioids in NJ as I review intake assessments for our clinic. The politicians, Media and Medical professionals lack the intestinal fortitude to tackle this issue head on. With a change in administration the future for any meaningful change looks ominous to say the least. There has been any number of attempts to confront the pharmaceutical companies for issues of inconsistent manufacturing abnormalities, however they go no where because the pharma lobby is so powerful any attempts are met with deaf ears. I wish I had an answer but dedicating time and money may just exasperate the frustration levels your already experiencing. I wish you the very best my friend.
I was on Barr Dextroamphetamine Sulphate for 12 years and was healthier because of it. After the healthcare REFORM and resulting "shortages", my medication disappeared w/o warning or notice. After a month I found a pharmacy 2 hours away that carried it; after 2 mos it became impossible to get because the pharmacist said my 50.00 generic shot-up to 500.00 overnight. I was forced to try other stimulants but none worked as well. Then my medication reappeared and was covered by insurance. It looked the same, had the same manufacturer name, but was a placebo with side-effects. I filed a formal complaint and learned that Barr was bought-out by teva' and Teva denied any changes at all to the formula. I had edema so bad I couldn't wear shoes, weight gain, vision problems....Primary dr did a heavy metals test and my results were very high in Cadmium, trioxide, and cephalon. I have reported this to the state commissioner, Teva, and others, but got nowhere and every stimulant since were inauthentic, nonstandardized and ineffective, just severe side-effects. I found-out that Teva was sued recently for containing heavy metals; I was never notified or compensated, and still have heavy metal toxicity. Also, I returned a pain medication as it nearly gave me an aneurism.
Jack, All pharmaceuticals that are sold at a pharmacy in the U.S must pass strict diagnostics. The high levels of metal in your system are Not due to the Dextroamphetamine. If your doctor thought the medication was the source of the problems you mentioned, he would have reported it to the FDA.
You need to carefully and slowly read the info regarding the legal suit against Teva.
