Has anyone used Respridol for Tourette's Syndrome? My son is almost 9, and may also have ADD. He is not really hyper, and behaves well at school. He was just started on Clonidine, but it hasn't been long enough to tell anything. The doc also mentioned Respridol, so I was just wondering. He also has moderate asthma, under control with Flovent. Thanks!

Do your research on risperdal. Google that word and "litigation". There is a legal suit. It seems it can give young boys female looking breasts. Just be aware.

I just started using Flovent and was advised to rinse my mouth and gargle after using to avoid getting thrush. Just so ya know...

Risperdal contains Risperidone, it is a potent atypical antipsychotic, which is approved to treat Schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and Schizoaffective disorder.

Most other uses are off-label and I have no information on it being used for Tourettes. Have you asked the doctor about it?
