I had this 10 mg from torrent and the pharmacy could not supply a refill. I do not like the substitute mfg. How can I get torrent zolpidem?

Well what’s going to happen is someone going to keep take another and another till someone OD on Zolpiem by Torrent because out of 90 pills 20 made be full strength.
The rest are placebo that have to be placebo if they do not work

I've taken Torrent zolpidem for years and it's been great. However, the 90 pills I got on Monday seem to have no medicine in them. They don't put me to sleep at all. The pharmacy gave me the batch number - 4EN2H051. The expiration date is July 2025, so expiration is not the problem.

Same exact issue. It had no effect at all. I really think they stopped adding the medicine last month. Torrent is a placebo now.

Thanks for confirming what I suspected about generic controlled meds - that you don't know what you are getting. Recently, Walmart ran out of Aurobindo zolpidem and so they gave me Torrent - which didn't work at all. In my experience, Torrent has been all over the place - they were terrible at first, then seemed to get their act together, and now I get another terrible batch. Obviously, these drugs are not adequately regulated.

Babara, both of those tablets contain 10mgs of Zolpidem, the active ingredient in Ambien.

And getting 2 different tablets in one prescription fill is not really anything to worry about. It just means that your pharmacy didn't have to enough left to completely fill your prescription from one company, so they had to open a new bottle and that one has a different manufacturer.

I totally agree with you. The current manufacturer that cvs is using does not work as well torrent nor does it break as well (I only take half). Very discouraged and annoyed that cvs does not tell you that they made this change.

I was on Qualitest forever and yeah it was the best, straight up. But I finally found my equal substitute, after trying like 20 brands. SANDOZ 10. Say it, know it, have your pharmacy order it. The best I've taken, at least on par with Qualitest.

Hi. I just received Torrent 10mg zolpidem from ExpressScripts as a new generic. I was taking Teva 10mg which I would get monthly from CVS in CA.
I'm a 51yo female, weighing 107lbs.
And have been taking zolpidem for about 5 years.
I was terrified that I wouldn't sleep but to my surprise, the Torrent brand worked better for me than Teva!! I actually slept for 6 1/2 hours straight.

Zolpidem is keeping me dragging early afternoon. I just got a pill that has 5 dots on it. I woke up better than the last batch. Any advise on the one closest to Ambien?

Walgreens just switched my Teva Zolpidem to Torrent and now can’t sleep. Abdominal pain and sleepless nights. Can’t find Teva anywhere? Torrent is horrible and made in India!

Take the Torrent ones like a sublingual. I have been taking them for quite some time and letting them dissolve under the tongue when you are relaxed in bed ready to sleep works like a charm.

Today, for the first time in 3 months, Walgreens gave me generic Ambien (Zolpidem) manufactured by Aurobindo, and it is very much improved.

You know what, not everyone’s body reacts the same to any medicine. Just because it works for me…may not work for you or anyone else. So don’t say that it’s crappy or “bottom of the barrel .” For some it works!
