Tizanidine 4mg Drowsiness And Dizziness

I have been on tizanidine, for about two weeks give or take. I was wandering if anyone could tell me if the morning dose drowsiness and dizziness will lessen as I take it, sleeping a for two hours or so during the day isn't very productive.

Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant it can cause such side effects, but yes, they should taper off after awhile, as your body adjusts to the medication, but that may take about a month.

Are you taking it regularly, rather than on an as needed basis? That's how these medications are usually prescribed.

I've been taking it for about 3 months and it still makes me drowsy. I can't take my morning dose unless I have time to lay down and take a nap. My body gets used to most prescriptions fairly quickly, so it does surprise me that this one still makes me so sleepy. I take my evening dose every night before bed and it helps with my insomnia as well as my muscle spasms ;) I can take soma 350 with no problem at all, no drowsiness.
