Hello,

In the United States the FDA requires that all prescription medication have an imprint as to be identifiable for medical professionals in the event of emergencies as well as to ensure that customers are able to identify their medication. Because your medication does not have an imprint I feel that one of two things is happening. Either you have found something that falls under the category of something like a vitamin/supplement/dietary pill or you have a presciption medication that has had it's imprint rubbed off.

A starting point could be to feel the pill, does it feel like it has a coating on it or does it feel rough and easy to break off. If the pill has a coating and it still doesn't have an imprint it is unlikely to be a prescription medication and falls under one of the other categories. If the pill feels rough to the touch like very soft sand paper and crumbles easily, it is possible that the pill is simply worn.

Without having an imprint there really is no accurate way for someone on the internet to tell you what the pill is but you can take the pill to a drug analyzer or to a pharmacy and see if they would be willing/capable of determining the contents of the medication. If you would rather just get rid of the pill you can do so by taking it to your local drug drop off located at most hospitals and pharmacies.
