Hello, Patty! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.
The FDA classifies this as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so similar to Advil or Motrin, it should start to have some effect within 15 to 20 minutes of taking it, though it may take about 4 weeks, before it reaches its full level of efficacy in your body.
Have you gotten any pain relief, at all, from it?
Typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation.
