Xanax is a benzodiazepine, so Suboxone does not affect how it works.

The FDA warns that Xanax carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and irritability.

The side effects may be intensified, so please be careful of that and only combine them, if your doctor has said it is safe for you to do so and is monitoring you regularly.
