The Effects Of Klonopin While On Vivitrol

I'm on Suboxone and am also a dialysis patient. I take Klonopin for the anxiety and my doctor wants to put me on Vivitrol, but will I still feel the effects of the Klonopin?

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) there are no drug interactions listed between Klonopin and Vivitrol. However if you plug Suboxone into the mix, then it comes up with interactions between Suboxone and Klonopin as well as interactions between Suboxone and Vivitrol; particularly the Buprenorphine in Suboxone. I don't know if your prescribing doctor is aware of this, but if you visit the University of Maryland Medical Center and use their drug interaction tool, then perhaps you can show this to you doctor for a second opinion. On a positive note: In many cases, the dose, frequency of dosing and/or other aspects of one's treatment regimen may be altered in such a way to better accommodate the additional effects from another drug, while simultaneously minimizing risks.
