Texas Pain Management Dilemma
UpdatedHi guys, so I have severe scoliosis which causes a lot of pain and have been prescribed 10mg hydrocodones. The problem is that I also use marijuana on occasion for my anxiety. I have been going to the same pm dr for about 5 years and I always used fake urine to pass. This was never an issue until recently when a new dr came in. I know it's dumb but I wasn't aware they were checking the level of hydrocodone as well and now the new dr is telling me he can't prescribe them to me anymore because all my U/A's were "clean". I really need the pills to sleep at night and I'm nervous I will be cut off permanently. Does anyone have any insight? Can I just go to another dr or will the release from my original dr tell the new dr why they stopped prescribing them? Thank you. Any info will help.
