Are you saying it hurts, after you swallow this medication?
If so, then are you making sure that you take it with lots of water?
Indomethacin is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it may irritate the lining of the esophagus, if it comes into contact with it, because it isn't completely washed down.
Alternatively, they can also increase your production of stomach acid, which can rebound into the esophagus and cause this type of irritation.
