Teva 74 10mg Zolpidem

I use this 10 mg (TEVA 74) generic Ambien. Empty bottle, but 2 in pill box so I verified ID. I always cut it because 5 mg almost always does the sleepy job. Often take quarter pill, then an another 1/4 pill if still awake 1/2 hr later. Cutting pills (if not specially coated) can save money as higher dose pills can cost little more than lower dose pills.

Yes, it is safe to cut or break most regular release medications, unless you are specifically instructed not to do so by your doctor or pharmacist, so this method could save someone money in the long run.

Anyone taking this, however, should be aware that it can cause some odd side effects, such as hallucinations, sleep eating and other strange sleep actions.

Are there any questions or concerns from anyone?

I have been taking the Zolpidem 10mg for about a week. And I forgot I had gotten my script filled. It isn't working at all. I am not sleeping and the little funny feeling you get right after taking it, some nights are felt more than others, I haven't felt at all!! That is why I looked up the pill to see if they had given me the wrong one. Anyone else having an issue with the Teva 74 generic for Ambien??

Teva 10 mg generic ambien from CVS is useless. I did take the nongeneric ambien for several months & it worked well. We should do a legal suit against CVS for selling fake drugs? Anyone else feel this way?

I had the same problem. The Teva 10 were useless. Unfortunately I was across the country by the time I used them and found out they were useless.
