Telmisertan Harmful Cominations Drugs

its a combination of angiotensin 2 receptor blocker and ACE inhibitor, which did not obtain any benefits in the end point of cardiovascular death, MI, stroke, heart failure. but it has increased the incidence of renal dysfunction(death,doubling of serum creatinine) compared with groups receiving telmisartan or ramipril alone.so concomitant use of these drugs not required.

Telmisartan is an ARB that is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions.

All medications have certain only medications that they should not be mixed with, since doing so can cause dangerous complications.

However, in some cases of severe cardiac problems or medication resistant hypertension, it is necessary to mix the ARB's with ACE inhibitors and the instance of dangerous reactions is very low.

I am an example of just such an instance, I am very sensitive to a lot of these types of medications, but had severely high blood pressure that was also resistant to some medications. I currently have to take both Atacand, which contains Candesartan, another ARB and Carvedilol, which is a beta blocker and have shown no signs of renal dysfunction. My doctor does check regularly, just to be on the safe side.

So, this information does not really apply to everyone, because the dangers you mentioned are very rare.
