Telma H 40
UpdatedWhat is the difference of Telma- H and Telma-40. Dr. prescribed my father Telma-H but by mistake he is taking Telma-40 instead of Telma-H and he is feeling no problem since one month.
Can he continue the same. He is 75 years of age.

Telma-H contains the active ingredients Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. The Telma just contains the Telmisartan.
As to which he should use, he should consult his doctor. They Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, so it removes excess fluid from the body and his doctor may feel there is a need for it.

Has he contacted his doctor, yet?
Use of Telma-H may increase blood sugar level?
