Taking Suboxone To Heroin To Suboxone

OK it's my first time here is my story. Well of course I've been on heroin for about 3 years. I stopped 7 months ago and checked in to a suboxone clinic. I've been clean ever since until last week. I used for a week (about half gram a day), now I tried to get back on my suboxone and did it too early. Man that was bad withdrawal! It was the worst! I was sick for about 16 hours of the worst withdrawals ever but then they went down but didn't go away. So I took another sub and it didn't work, so I waited again for about 6 hours and tried another one. It didn't work again so I tried some H and it took my sick off but didn't work well. Now it's the next morning and I'm not really "sick" sick, just uncomfortable. Can I take a suboxone, or will it send me back into withdrawal? Someone please help me. I learned my lesson abd I want to stop but I just don't want to be sick. PLEASE HELP ME.

If you are only uncomfortable now (and not dope sick ) why would you risk early re-dosing thereby running the chance of another 16 hour precipitated Withdrawal stretch?? There is no completely comfortable way to withdraw from these powerful narcotics. Don't beat yourself up for relapsing most do ( including myself).,Recovery is a disease of denial and relapse to prevent further damage why not seek the help of a trained professional that can assist you and answer all your questions and concerns. You did it before you can do it again. Just don't give up or give in some folks really do care. Hang tuff, Kenie.

Yes, you have to be in full withdrawal from all other opiates, before you can safely take Suboxone, according to FDA warnings. That's why doctors will not give it to someone immediately, because precipitated withdrawals can be very dangerous, in some cases, even fatal.

As the other poster said, it might be best for you to get professional help, again.
