The main issue is that one is a stimulant and the other causes sedation, since it's a muscle relaxant. They can be taken together, but you do need to be cautious and should only do so, if your doctor has prescribed them both for you.
The FDA lists the side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and dry mouth.
