I am a type 2 diabetes patient. The doctor has prescribed Glycomet and Glimy for me to take daily, both morning and evening. Can I take both of these tablets together? If I need to take them separately, which one should I take before breakfast and which one after breakfast?

You can take them both together and it's usually best to take such medications just before a meal, so they have time to start working by the time you are digesting your food. Unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise.
Glimy contains the active ingredient Glimepiride.
Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin.
Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain.
