what is tab pan 20 used for?when should we administer it,before or after food?

This contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, which is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to help reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, it is used to treat or prevent conditions like heartburn, GERD, ulcers and Gastritis.

It should be given just before a meal.

Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence.

I am on PAN 20 , 2 Tabs a day, after identified with ASCETIS and Varices. I am having very bad Flatulence. What is the remedy for flatulence please ?
