You shouldn't ever take anything without knowing what it is and it's shelf life. However for future reference and from personal experience and my medical education in the medical field and pharmaceutical education, most of your pharmaceuticals aka pills... will provide you with their "shelf life" "peak release" for any time released medications etc. There are a few factors to consider when facing a U/A. It depends on how often and how much of a medication you take, also your fluid intake factors in as well. Normally if you do not take anything at least 72 hours (3 days) before the test and you drink more water and antitoxin drinks you should be fine. Also they have drinks that you can buy, just research them first as some do not work. I found one that did actually work at a cigarette store and it was only $10.00. So 3-4 days unless you take it regularly and do not have a script for it you should pass it. THC on the other hand takes me at least 30 days without smoking anything and drinking NO sodas which the sugar causes the pills and the THC to stay in one's fatty cells longer than normal. I know this is an old post but I just saw it when I was looking up these marinol that my brother's oncologist prescribed him from his chemotherapy treatments. So thought I'd offer a little advice.

I took 2 of these cream colored round pills printed 61 on them this last friday, so 4 days ago. I'm currently trying to get employed and had to take a U/A yesterday. So my question is do I need to worry..?

That is correct and just to clarify, since many people misunderstand, it does not have the same effects as raw THC in marijuana, so you cannot use it to get high.

It can have a calming effect for anxiety and stimulate the appetite, but those looking to abuse it will be sorely disappointed.

I do not want to infer that anyone that posted here was looking to do so, but there are people that have been asking such things, so I just want to make the real details more clear.

Yeah man. Those are thc pills. Little round ones, like not even pea size. Marinol. Its like the pharmaceutical name for them.
