T 194 Yellow Pill (Page 7) (Top voted first)

Updated

I have a T 194 yellow pill that says it's a percocet 10mg, but when taking it, it made me feel super weird and my chest hurt. Is this a possible side effect?

JMJ,

Why would any of us be concerned of a “red flag” in sharing mutual bad side effects. What is a “red flag?” Why would we be concerned? I found this site initially to see to see if it was just me who suddenly felt bizarre symptoms of a medicine I’ve taken for years as an established chronic pain managed patient then suddenly an abrupt indifference. Is this site legit to discuss freely mutual concerns or is it a survey to compile results of an FDA, GOV’T ploy to use us to see if their new formulation is working? I’ve wanted to thank whoever manages this site, who originated it. Now I’m concerned. Our complaints are legit & I’m praying they have our best interests in mind.

I guess I should make my name poohsy, it's because I like pooh bear LOL. Now that's out of the way I feel like I'm not as old as I should be to be in pain management but I do see people in their younger than myself; and I do want someone to question what the heck are you doing so young and being in here already, but then it smacked me in the head, why are you questioning that because it's none of your business? I'm sure that older people look at me and think the same thing. You need to stop being so damn judgmental all the way around when it comes to everything. Do I get 500 pills or 50 pills? It's none of their business. The office that I go to has actually posted on the walls, but if you're caught talking about your business with another client you could be dismissed as a patient, no if ands or buts about it. I sit there and I sit on my Facebook and don't speak to anyone. Once again until we talk again take care. I would say see you soon but when I do that LOL you take care and God bless.

Re: JMJ (# 244) Expand Referenced Message

I hear you loud and clear, being flagged as an addict is the worse. Not sure at this point if my pharmacist has done that to me or not but I’m not the only one that expressed my dislike for those yellow pills and have asked for the A333, so hopefully I’m not flagged. I’ve been taking some sort or another of pain killer for the past 20 years and I posed that question to my pain doctor, I asked her if she thought I was addicted, she actually said no I was tolerable, so that made me feel pretty good. But thank you for that information and I’m sure it will be helpful for those who read this.

I went in I told my pain doctor that they switched manufacturers and then it made me very sick. I told them I was changing pharmacies they said that was fine and I change pharmacies.

Thank you and yes, you read it correct, as did you Poohsy.

When I'm in so much pain, and feeling so sick and I know a percocet will help me feel better and all the difference in the world, as well as allow me to function and be there for my family, but I can't because stupid decisions from lawmakers/docs/pharmacies, it really depresses me.

If someone is suffering severe nausea or migraines, is it right to take away their drugs that would help them feel better? NO it's not!

Us true pain patients/sufferers don't feel high like a person of the street taking percocets yet here we are punished. It's just so inhumane to me.

Re: nomas (# 281) Expand Referenced Message

Hello to you,,, I hope that this day is a fine one indeed, I feel it quite difficult on the nervous system to read the arbitrary numbers on this chronic state of the opioid crisis. Reading the " numbers " based on some case study , done by a politician is more than I want to torture myself . The big guy sitting behind those pillars does not take the time to look at the truth, because if he did , I wholeheartedly believe that he wouldn't have decided to go and make laws that target more than just pain pills, there are people out there that legally "use" opioids for a better quality of life. Now all of the sudden we are addicts . I guess all of the dr.'s that treated us with pain medication need their heads examined, what school of stupid did they go to that told them to treat chronic pain with opioids, seriously, years and years indeed years of prescribing opioids to someone that has positive proof of structural damage, now all of the sudden psychiatric and other means are the answer. Well let's see ,,, the school I went to says this , if someone has debilitating pain , no amount of face time will change the painful beast that lives within. Stand strong and stay united,,, this thread is the only place that I have found so far that truly understands this hell !!! Hugs to all that need one .

Wait until a different pharmacist is on duty and ask him or her. The person that told you that is just being lazy. The one pharmacist at my pharmacy said the same thing so the next time I went in there was a different pharmacist on duty and he told me yeah they can get them so try that.

You need to stop taking these and get another Pharmacy that's got another distribution or manufacturer for Percocet.

And your question is???.... I think you should read your own post, the way that it is makes no sense. Are you trying to ask about pills changing colors??

I don't know where you are located but all I had to do was tell my pain management doctor that I was changing pharmacies. I explain to them why and what the medicine was doing to me; they agreed with me that there was a problem with what they had in them and that it was fine that I changed pharmacies. I changed pharmacies and I've had no problems since. Hopefully you'll be able to do this as well. Good luck to you.

Re: MeJane (# 84) Expand Referenced Message

Sounds like you shouldn't be taking Percocet at all if you keep getting side effects from all the different brands. Try getting straight oxycodone with no Tylenol in it. I have been on all the different kinds of percocet and yes some are a little stronger than others. I find Rhodes to be weak, IP one's are weak, T194 are pretty good, but the best ones of the genetics seem to be the uello, round with 230 on one side and a weird symbol on the I side, those rock! You should really just switch to something else besidesbpercocet because obviously you have bad effects to the fillers used. The little oxycodone with nothing but oxy are great amd come in many different MG strengths and then you can take an ibuprofen with it and maybe you will react much better to that! Or maybe try 10mg Vicoden because they aren't as strong as the oxy and you might feel better

Re: Mason (# 10) Expand Referenced Message

I have tried many generics that did not work . It seems they have tweaked the ingredient to make less effective ...DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON CAMBER ABSOULTLEY HORRIBLE .Now I get brand Percocet that sosts a lot more . But, I have no choice , PM is giving me less than half , After my rheumatologist cut me off completely . It inhumane tired of being treated like an addict and not a CCP !!!!

I was given the t194 yellow percocet and whenever I take it I begin to sweat profusely. Usually, my pharmacy gives me the A333. I've never had a problem with them whatsoever. So my question is, am I having an allergic reaction to them?

Thank you! I just changed Rx Ins plans, so I'll check to see if Kroger is 1 in my new network. Also, I take a lot of meds and I'm not sure if I can fill meds at more than 1 pharmacy.

I didn’t tell my doc for fear of him changing me to something else but being a pharmacy tech I looked it up for myself. My doc prescribed me 10/325 percocets when I started on pain meds but I knew over the years I would build up a resistance to them so I would only take 1/2 a pill daily. As the pain got worse I would take 1/2 pill twice a day. Then 1/2 3 times a day. I was written 1 3 times per day so I started out really slowly. I did notice than if I ever was hurting really bad I would try a whole pill & it would feel like i was having a heart attack. I actually went to my gastro & let him run the light down as my lupus attacks my upper GI tract. It was causing my esophagus to have spasms which mimick the exact feelings of a heart attack the doc told me. I didn’t tell him I thought the Percocets had something to do with it. I’ve had to have my esophagus stretched due to the lupus several times that had nothing to do with the pain meds. But I noticed when I initially increased the dose & it would temporarily cause the pain. Try taking half the dose prescribed till you get used to taking them. Hope this helps. I’d never heard of anyone having this issue till I did & had to figure it out the hard way because I was scared to ask.
