T 194 Yellow Pill (Page 4) (Top voted first)

Updated

I have a T 194 yellow pill that says it's a percocet 10mg, but when taking it, it made me feel super weird and my chest hurt. Is this a possible side effect?

Not sure exactly where to put my comment, so here goes. I used to get a generic Percocet 10/325 from CVS that was yellow (don't remember the manufacturer name because they switched to Rhodes over a year ago). I don't know if I got a bad batch from CVS or if Rhodes just makes poor quality medication, but I switched my script to Walgreen's because even though the A333 pills were not as effective for me as the ones CVS stopped carrying before the switch to Rhodes, they far surpassed Rhodes. The first time I took one of the Rhodes pills I kept waiting for it to work and 7 hours later I never did feel it take effect so I took a second dose as my script says to take 1 pill every 8 hours as needed for pain. I found the Rhodes pills to be very inconsistent - sometimes the worked so-so, sometimes it was like taking nothing at all, and sometimes they were strong enough to notice.

So that is why I decided they are a waste and switched to Walgreen's. On 2/1/2018 I picked up a new prescription from Walgreen's and received the yellow T194 pills from Camber. While I don't think they are as good as the yellow ones CVS used to carry, I will take these over Rhodes any time. For me, the T194 pills seemed to work quicker but wear off before the 8 - 12 hours of pain relief I received with the A333 pills. And the A333 pills took longer to kick in for me, but also the pain relief lasted longer once they did kick in. Both for me are FAR SUPERIOR to Rhodes medication. I have not had any adverse side effects mentioned by others to the T194 pills, but I do not dispute these reactions as there are different fillers in the two brands of pills and the reactions could be to the fillers and not the active ingredients of the medication.

My main problem when I fill the prescription is being scrutinized by the pharmacist and the pharmacy employees as if they are trying to see if I look stoned. I take the medication as prescribed so I do not look stoned, but they still seem to be on the warpath every time I take in a new script (same pharmacy for over a year, no early refill requests, same doctor for about the last 8 years, no failed U/A's administered by the prescribing doctor, etc., etc., etc.) I would love not to take this medication just to not have to go through this BS every time I take a new script to the pharmacy, but I have not figured out any other way to get rid of that feeling of someone pounding a sledge hammer into the base of my spine. I have arthritis and degenerative disc disease in all three parts of my spine so the pain is not going to be "cured" and taking an opioid does seem to make the pain manageable enough so that I can do normal daily activities without having to rely on others to do them for me because I am in too much pain to move. I am lucky that I can function better than many others, and I am thankful for this. But I see no reason to live in constant pain if this medication can make that pain more bearable. I don't believe chronic pain patients need to be pawns of the doctors, the medication manufacturers, and the pharmacy personnel who seem to be on a personal life mission to make the lives of people on controlled medications turn into a living hell. I hope those of you having problems with this manufacturer change and also with nasty pharmacy employees can find the relief you need as quickly as possible.

I was told by my pharmacist that no one has complained about them at all and I find that very hard to believe. when I went to CVS to get mine for the first time I was told that I was the second person who had came there from Walgreens who have the same issue. I hope we can all find some relief with this issue and our pain.

Not only in Percocets but in all opioids products including Methadone and name brands which there are none. The big name pharm. co. were brought to capital hill and asked if there was a way to make pain pills that were non habit forming they answered no. but they could block the euphoria feeling which would stop people from seeking that feeling and abuse. Which they didn't get across to them it also takes away 75% of the effects of the pain relief. OR they just don't give a f....This didn't happen over night its been added a little at a time. That warm fussy happy motivated feeling that made the pain go away is gone. They also add small amounts of naloxone not enough to reverse but if you take enough it will. The t194 tried to compensate for that loss by adding a little pick me up to their pill that made people nervous and restless and the co. that makes them was on capital hill. Camber don't make that pill. I watched it on tv .

Nomas is absolutely correct. I wish I could post the link. Go to google and type in "t 194 endo pharma" and click on the first link. It's the camber pharma website.

It clearly shows right there, on Camber's page, that the t194 pill is IN FACT, manufactured by none other than ENDO pharmaceuticals (the original maker of brand Percocet and Endocet). Camber is an India based company that just re-packs it and distributes it.

Wow. So in essence these Camber t194 are the new "Endocets". Crazy thing is that Camber isn't even owned by Endo. Hetero Drugs Ltd (which is the same as Dr. Reddy's lab and also Aurolife/Aurobindo) owns Camber.

No wonder all the currently available Percocets suck! Dark times ahead my friends. Some crazy collusion going on here and it doesn't smell good.

I've been in severe agony and couldn't understand why, untill i looked up the code on the yellow 10/325 which is new to me. I've always had white pills. This T194 is not helping my pain and i have zero energy. All i want to dovis lay down in a fetal position and cry... I woke up with an itchy swollen eye this morning. So after reading the other comments, i know i am not crazy. This crap sucks!! No pain relief! Zero... And i guess no sense in calling my doctor. Thanks everyone!!

Yes - I am the wife of a disabled veteran(since 1971) he has had severe(Or worse as he has aged) pain for several years. (Due to several falls from head injuries-he also has chronic pain from spinal injuries-he had a stroke in 2015) The hospital who did surgery in 2015 had him on percoset (oral -plus injection). Later in 2016 they moved him to hydrocodone/then ox ycodone w/acetyminophen. I think now they have changed him to the generic's. I am so upset to see (after all his suffering) that the doctor's have the ability to do this for a Veteran. (the Veteran's of our country deserv e what they exceptionally require for their pain and suffering if it is the best for them daily!

I understand fully what your are explaining! Kmart has been my pharmacy for almost 6 years (when I originally prescribed pain medication & anti-depressants) they have always treated me with the utmost respect, never made me feel uncomfortable & always had my medications on the day each one was due to be filled. In addition, my generic Percocet was a round light yellow color & worked well for my pain. Now all the Kmart’s are closing. Right before they closed one of my other prescriptions which was always a small pink pill, one month suddenly was a white pill. I didn’t notice until the day after I picked it up & opened the new bottle when my other bottle ran out. I was immediately set back & thought perhaps they’d accidentally given me the wrong pill? It was early morning before the pharmacy opened, that was the first time I used google to research a pill. Boy was I shocked! I read the first 40 complaints about how ineffective my new medication was & many had written the pharmaceutical company and the FDA about the medication & none received any response! When Kmart opened I called the pharmacy mgr (who like you have, I had gotten to know & feel comfortable with over the years) he assured me the medication was “the same & simply a different company & not to believe what I read on the internet” so I took the medication the entire month. It was indeed ineffective! So the next month I took only that prescription to W & explained to that pharmacy mgr how Kmart had changed pharmaceutical companies for that one medication & it did not work for me. He had no issue filling it for me. (Oh & first I went to CVS where they refused to do it!) After about 4 months of doing this, I was out of town & didn’t return home until after 9 pm when that Walgreens was closed so I took my prescibtion 9 miles down the same road to the 24 hour Walgreens, they filled it but that locations pharmacy mgr is the one who rang me out & apparently he looked into my entire prescription history (I had been 100% honest with the other Walgreens about what & why I was doing what I was doing!) he very sharply informed me I could no longer fill this one prescription at W because he noticed my other prescriptions were filled at Kmart. I tried to explain to him exactly why I was doing this, just as I had explained to the other W pharmacy mgr! Kmart & a contract with a new pharmaceutical company & the pharmacy mgr there could not simply order my original brand! He did not care & told me I could not fill at ANY W! Wow!!!

Now, regarding these particular Percocet, I switched to a local grocery store & I don’t receive these but I also don’t receive my Percocet I received at Kmart for almost 6 years! My new ones don’t cause all these side effects however, I’m 100 % positive my new medication is NOT as effective & wears off much quicker!! I talked to my psychiatrist about this (he doesn’t prescribe my pain medication but I wanted to discuss if this was possible “in my head” and not true fact!) he assured me this issue IS NOT IN OUR HEADS! ALL GENERIC MEDICATIONS DO HAVE DIFFERENT FILLERS & MOST IMPORTANTLY & SHOCKING TO ME, ALL GENERIC MEDICATION CAN LEGALLY BE UP TO 20 % LESS ACTIVE INGREDIENT AND STILL PASS THE FDA & YOUR LABEL WILL STILL READ 10 MG even when the active ingredient may only be 8 mg! This makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU TAKE PAIN MEDICATION EVERY 4-6 HOURS AND EACH DOSE IS 20% LESS ACTIVE INGREDIENT (and has different fillers!) You can even find this information on the FDA website after you search it, you will find this information printed very small!!

Re: MeJane (# 198) Expand Referenced Message

Hello to everyone! I am so sorry for this late response. I have been sick on so many levels concerning this matter. I recently read about the gov't "new regulations to conquer opiate overdose" I hope all of you are sitting down! They want all pain patient's to get the following treatment:

1- To have water/ and physical therapy
2- To seek mental health by means of psychology or psychiatrist!!They are claiming that pain patient's are suffering because of MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES!!!! I recently saw my Dr this past week. He advised me to contact my senator in my township and to contact my congressman. He was beyond lived for what these abusers have done to legitimate patients. What are they going to do to us next? Has anyone seen the new TV COMMERCIAL'S REGARDING HELP FOR ADDICTION?! We have gotten tossed to the back burner, stigmatized, all because we have honest health issues. Are they going to take the active agent out of heartburn meds, insulin away from diabetics, heart medicine away from heart patients, etc, etc. They seriously think that PAIN DOESN'T CAUSE DEPRESSION??? I honestly think whoever is responsible for these new laws going forward never suffered an ounce of true pain! Va vets are ending their lives because of this. Yes, they are MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE OPIATE ABUSERS, AND THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT REAL LIFE PATIENTS. I PREY FOR THINGS TO CHANGE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! THEY DON'T MENTION THAT 115.000 People die from ibuprofen every year.

I'm so sorry for you, and I wish you the best of luck finding a dr. who wants to take your pain seriously. Sadly I need to let you know, according to the new guidelines on how to treat chronic pain, dr's are to have the patient seek mental help. Ya see, it's not all of those nerves in your body that are screaming and biting, it's your depression that's causing the pain. Pain isn't supposed to be that bad. It's all in your head. You have to seek a head dr. Some professional that is going to tell you to sit down and breathe.... om..... yup, that's our government. Thank the panel of professional people that did the study, now psych clinics are going to be flooded with phone calls with pain patients looking to cure their pain. Isn't that going to be a nice boost to the economy. Oh and the pharmaceutical companies get to give us antidepressants, oh wait!!! Isn't there talk that antidepressants don't work either??? They give people suicidal tendencies, can maybe even cause people to pick up a gun, hmmmm, now what? They seem to be pushing legal marijuana. I wholeheartedly believe that stuff is like the duct tape of plants, does a lot, even from some sources, eliminated pain. I haven't tried it for pain, don't like what the stuff does to my head. CBD oil I've heard can work too. Alcohol is legal, so are cigarettes and bullets. I guess if you don't want to sit down on a couch those are pretty much the choices they are giving us. I'm being sarcastic. I would never suggest anything that would cause you or anyone else harm. I hope in a prayer that somehow someone will see how badly chronic pain is and if left untreated can lead to physical and mental damage. I think I'm going to go make myself a big cocktail and light up a joint and clean my gun! Big hugs to you.

Re: JMJ (# 219) Expand Referenced Message

First and foremost let me give you my deepest and sincerest condolences to you and your family as well as my prayers. I'm so sorry you had to lose a loved one on top of going through all of this. I'm glad to read that you did and were able to get your medicine before anything happened so that you are at least out of paying yourself or at least comfortable when something did happen. God bless your husband for going and dealing with all of that for you. Lately there's been a lot of crazy talk on here about bathing and all sorts of other weird things it's been a mess. Unfortunately I think with Walgreens we're stuck with that brand because when I called them myself yesterday they basically told me that they would be going with who they had the better deal with and that there was nothing they could do about ordering any more they had no control over it any longer. They themselves told me you might want to find a new Pharmacy for this after I told them what the deal was with the medication the reaction that I was having with it and so forth. I have done some investigating with this myself and if we could get enough people with enough complaints and enough problems so to speak it could be a class action lawsuit. It's making entirely too many people sick and I don't think that they're putting two and two together as to why. And that's sad. so in the meantime we all need to keep watching the Black Box labels on our medications especially on that medication and specifics the t194 not just the Percocet and if we see it then we need to all start speaking up and we've got these logs to back us up that something was wrong to begin with so I hope this helps with all of us. Until we talk again I hope this finds you well. Take care of yourself.

I am sooo angered right now! I took the time to listen to this dr. Kolodny, couldn't listen to the s*** being shoveled, had to stop the tape! This dude needs to go back to school and learn the difference between addiction and dependency, this uneducated individual needs to start reading this site to maybe get a clue in that curly brain that chronic pain is NOT because pain patients are looking to feel high, UNBEARABLE and unexceptable! We, every person reading this, please take the time to TRY and listen to this knucklehead, Dr. Andrew Kolodny. And all of you out there that take blood pressure pills please do so before proceeding. What's going on here in this place we call America? Something just isn't making any sense at all. Dr's are now turning into puppets to the government that tells them who what where when why and how they get to treat patients, my pm. Dr actually is trying to convince me that pain pills do not work after 7 weeks he is also trying to get me to seek a psychiatrist, guess my simple counselor isn't good enough, sure, give me an antidepressant to ease the searing pain, pain chronic enough to keep me home day in and day out. Will I be able to lift more than 5 pounds after I take this little antidepressant pill, perhaps the pounding headache and stabbing pain running down my spine will magically float away into a dreamy state of mind blowing bliss!! Hmmmm. I think I'm going to write Mr Kolodny a letter, cuz obviously he has the answers and is changing how pain is thought about and treated, get me a bucket cuz I'm gonna puke!

n2braves....thank you. Yep, planning on seeing brother again. Mom, too. So I better do the right thing in this life. : ) I take nothing for granted. Nothing in this life, or in the next! Death certainly acts as an attitude adjustment. Complaining about the small things is a waste of time and energy. Just want to do the best I can with what I'm given, and shut up about what I'm not..given, that is. Thanks again.

So easy to be caught up I our own affairs and never pop our head out to check out what's going on around us. Especially when dealing with chronic conditions. This forum is a blessing in some ways and serves a good pupose. On the other hand, I read it like a soap opera ...; ) Keep coming back to see what new story is unfolding! Will Lil's stomach ever recover..... will that guy ever find a clinic with a decent compassionate doctor???? Yep, poking a little fun, but I keep coming back because this place has info about EVERYTHING!

Sorry for your loss. I can definitely relate as I've lost my husband, a baby, my parents, all grands, all my siblings, many Aunts & uncles, as well as, longtime friends. :( In 2015, buried my husband, of 27 years, then my mothet, my F-I-L, an uncle and friend of 30 yrs ~all in 10 months! No, the holidays will never be the same. :( The Holidays & Anniversary of loved ones passing will be hard. We just have to go on, as that is what they would want. I'm still taking one day at a time. Dealing with all that, on top of chronic medical conditions ~Fibromyalgia, & Diabetes, along with CM Chiara Malf. ,Neuropathy, HBP, IBS, DJD, CTS & more is so hard!! Sick of being sick!! Hang in there all!

Re: FibroFighter2 (# 240) Expand Referenced Message

Fibrofighter, from one to another. Fibro was my first diagnosed condition while in 30's. After that it all went downhill. First knee replacement at 42, second at 54. Aneurysm, stroke, bloodclots, rheumatoid....ok, I'm already bored, not gonna finish the list. : D It's an ugly one, anyway. But, couple all that with emotional trauma like yours and I find those traumas make the pain harder to bear, as I'm sure you know. My meds, at least for now, and when I have them allow me to keep busy and not mull over the difficulties life is throwing my way. NO ONE, no matter who they are, rich, poor, sick, healthy, is immune to suffering. We differ in ways to cope. But, the sun still shines on one and all. I choose to enjoy the sun, live a life of gratitude to God, regardless of the difficulties. I wake up, I breathe, I am alive. Keeping busy, doing little acts of service to others, actually keeps me from a life of ME, ME, ME.

Besides all that^^^^^ I am so grateful to the kindness of friends and family.....and people like you! People, who will take a moment of their time to extend sympathy to a complete stranger, while nursing their own wounds, loss and sufferings. Thank you. Losing my brother and sister in law within a week was a hard hit. But, it has served the purpose of reminding me I am not immortal. That as long as I'm here, I have work to do. Back to meds...lol. The oxycodone 10's I receive, at least for now, are a means to that end. They enable me to focus on others and tackle tasks that otherwise ore very overwhelming. JMJ

Thank you, David. I feel better knowing it's not just my posts that get held up, due to the sheer volume of posts. I just wondered if my posts have some kind of offensive content. Seems that may not be the case. Though, I do know not everyone is gonna like me or my posts, lol. I appreciated your kind response.

Poohsy, I am glad to know even you, ever so kind, ever considerate, have had your own posts delayed. So, I'll quit worrying about it. Besides, if they want to warn me or contact me, they have my email. I do think the moderators are good, kind and helpful. The topics here are so diverse and seem to cover just about everything. Re: painnnn (# 271) Expand Referenced Message

That's the whole point, " they " want you to feel sick from them so that you don't take them any more, and if by chance , after you have danced through fiery hoops, and have gotten a pain pill replacement, it will be a ghost of pain pills past . This is all part of the fight to rid this country of the epic opioid crisis , Don't take those yellow poison pills any more, you will definitely end up with either a major stomach ulcer or your whole stomach and intestines will be completely out of good ' bugs ' or worse,
It is an atrocity that chronic pain sufferers are now suffering even more due to a certain someone wanting popularity votes. That certain someone also wants to rid all pharmacies of dispensing opioids by the year 2020 , and quite frankly, I believe that has already happened due to the mystery things sitting in my pain pill bottle.
I hope and pray that all of us here will eventually come out of this mess with relief from chronic pain and that every day can start with our feet on the ground. Life should be about opportunities that give us , and the ones we love and care for , enrichment and a sense of belonging ,,, fighting chronic pain day in and day out ,,,,, NOT
Praying for better days ahead ,,, for all

The only way we can fight the Camber T194 from Walgreens and whomever else has them is quite clear. Nobody should get this brand... Camber MFR! If enough people do not fill their meds there, sooner or later they will have to do SOMETHING. THEY ARE RUNNING A BUSINESS AT OUR EXPENSE. THEY ARE CHEAP AND DON'T CARE ABOUT US
