Why has synap forte been described as dangerous

Because it contains Dextropropxyphene and it, as well as its cousin Propoxyphene have been proven to be cardiotoxic. They can cause irregular and unstable heart rhythms, this has resulted in hospitalizations and even several deaths.

It has also been pulled from the market in the U.S.
