Can you mix sulfameth-trimeth susp grape in with liquids because my daughter refuses to take it? ## Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim is an antibiotic. That said, as long as you do not heat the liquid and make sure that you still put in the full dose, then it will not affect the efficacy. It may cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. infection ## I think you are referring to Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim which is used for treating infections. James ## I a welt on my leg, so i let it go for a day or so than went to the hospital. I was told it was a staff infection, i was perscribed Sulfameth, is this a good drug for staffinfection? And how serious is staffinfection? ## Hi Justin - yes, this antibiotic should prove effective at treating your infection. Staph Infection (Staphylococcus Aureus) can become serious if left untreated. Just monitor how you feel while taking this drug and let your doctor know if you are getting any bad side effects. this pill isnt that big but its oval shaped with an IP on the left side and 272 on the right side and it also has a line down the middle of it.
