Sulfamethoxazole And Trimethoprim Ds For Boils

I am a diabetic and I take 30 units of insulin everyday twice a day. I wondering is this medication good for boils?

I have MRSA infection that triggers boils or stys appearing every 2-3 weeks and last for a week or more at a time. Infection control Bactrim and Doxy. I have been declared disabled due to frequent absenteeism at work requiring 4 or more days off from work every month.
