I need a subutex doctor ASAP near Phoenix. I have been on it for a while and I am new to Arizona. ## Dr. Baljeet Singh in Glendale will prescribe subutex if you are pregnant. He did for me 6 years ago. However, I recently went to him and would not treat me because I am also on xanax. So as long as you are not taking xanax or on any other drugs he will prescribe it. ## I know this is old but check out Dr Scott McCall it's called Southwest Behavioral Health in Phoenix they take ahcccs and prescribe suboxone Subutex and methadone ## Did you ever find a doctor who wrote you for both the subs and xanax by chance? ## They will prescribe on a case to case basis. I've been on Clonopin for 31 years and willing to decrease but not coming off.

I would like to create a thread to serve as a resource for those who need subutex instead of suboxone. If you are aware of ANY providers or physicians who will prescribe it: for those who are allergic to naloxone, or to those who do not have insurance - this information will benefit many addicts. So, let's share information and use this as a helpful resource. ## Hi my name is Shelley and I am currently on zubzolv and it does not help. I am doing research on it he new law that just passed to find out if I am breastfeeding is the doctor supposed to keep me on subutex. I have been on subutex for 8 months and just had a baby as of June 15 2015. I told my doctor I am still breastfeeding. My baby is only a month old but he still switched me to zubzolv and it has naloxone in it which the b...

I have hep-c and finally found a Dr to give me Suboxone but I'm worried that when they find out I have hep-c they won't give it to me. I live in OKC, so does anyone know if I'll be able to receive the medication? Can you only get Subutex if you have Hepatitis C? ## Do not even mention your hep-c. It will complicate everything. Just take the suboxone and get on with your life. Also, you will have more energy taking suboxone. I know how hep-c zaps your energy. Enjoy your life. Good luck to you. Editor's note: we do not verify the credentials of our users and nothing stated is intended as medical advice. ## Will a doctor prescribe me Subutex if I have Hepatitis C? ## The Naloxone in Suboxone has not been known to aggravate such liver conditions, according to details listed ...

I'm from Savannah, GA and cannot find a pharmacy that has the 54 411 subutex. I had one pharmacy but the past few times I've been there they have been out. I can only do the big white ones, (but prefer the 54 411's), not the little ones. Does anyone know what pharmacies have them around here? Thanks. ## Unfortunately, there is no way to know which pharmacy carries any given product from any manufacturer, since it can vary depending on who was offering the cheapest price through their distributor, at the time they needed to restock their supply. Thus, the only thing you can really do is keep checking back with various pharmacies, there might be one that can order it for you. What problem do you have with the other ones? Subutex is an opioid, so it carries the risk of being ha...

Good morning everyone. I'm taking Subutex I've been on it for about 6 months now. I'm 62 years old and I'm doing great on the Subutex except at my age I do have severe pain. I'm going to ask my doctor when I go back next month is there anything you can take for pain that will work with the Subutex? I don't mean Tylenol or Ibuprofen because it just doesn't work. Any suggestions you kind people. Thank you have a great day. Just hurting. ## I'm sorry, but there are no opiates that will work with Subutex. By its very nature, the Buprenorphine in it latches onto your opiate receptors, and takes a stronger hold than all other available opiates, that is one of the ways it helps prevent people from still abusing them, while undergoing treatment with it. However, ...

I ran out of subutex last night - can I take suboxone today? ## Hi Ash, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Subutex and Suboxone. So with that being said, I wouldn't anticipate having any problems when switching between one or the other. Also, because Subutex contains the same active ingredient "Buprenorphine", taking the two meds together or within a short a time frame of one another would also be similar to just having an higher dose of Suboxone. Is your doctor also aware that you're taking both medications? ## Have only four 8 strips Suboxone to last until January 21st! I currently take 12 mgs day. Reason Im short? They were stolen and I can't turn the person in as he is family. I have no concrete proof. anyway, I've be on this ...

In dire need to find a new doctor in Indiana to prescribe me 8mg subutex. I believe that's what I've been getting, they have 54 411 on them. they have got me off all the other junk. ## There is a doctor in Indiana who will definitely give you subutex. Glen leer in arcadia Indiana. It's kinda pricey but worth it. Now I am looking for someone beside leer who will definitely give me subutex. I went to leer for 7 years and now I need a new doctor ## There is really no way to guarantee that any doctor will prescribe any particular medication, that can vary on a case by case basis. There is also certain criteria for prescribing Subutex and Suboxone, you can read more about it on Substance Abuse and Mental Health Sarvices Administration page.. It has been a true boon for many strug...

looking for dr to prescribe subutex to me while I am pregnate. I live in Wise Co. Virginia the doctor needs to accept va Medicaid. ## Hello, Yossi! How are you? It is unlikely that you will get an OB Gyn to prescribe it. You should just get yourself set up with one and then they will most likely refer you to someone else for the Subutex treatment. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Need sebutex dr in va. or tenn or even ky. i used to b on methadone maint but i kicked herion. then i had car accident and needed pain medds then i tried bpx but i.get sicker if i take that. i need a dr. and is it poss that my fam dr c...

Which one only has one blocker and which has two blockers (Subutex / Suboxone)? ## @big k, You might be thinking of Subutex, which only has one blocker (Buprenorphine). But just to confirm, a white round pill imprinted with 155 on one side and half moon on the other, is identified as generic "Suboxone"; containing Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg (base) + Naloxone hydrochloride 2 mg (base). I hope this helps answer your question! ## Subutex doesn't have a blocker whatsoever. Buprenorphine is an opiate. Subutex is 100% buprenorphine. Suboxone which has 1 blocker in it. And that blocker is naloxalone. They don't make subutex or suboxone with 2 blockers. Ive been on suboxone for over 2 years. ## David (# 1) - All you had to do was Google buprenorphine and you'll underst...

ARE SUBUTEX EVER ORANGE AND ROUND WITH HALF MOON AND 26 ON GENERIC 20 MG TABLETS? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? No, Actavis actually lists this as being a 20mg generic Adderall tablet, which is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia and anorexia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Here we go mine are not mine are 8mg each don't you ask the Dr. ## I got a square cube with 4 pieces on its white clear looking is that suboxen

I was dope sick and was given a subutex. I hear it's just like the suboxone so it's a blocker or would I feel another opiate a few hours later? ## Hello, Bree! How are you? No, Subutex does not contain the Naloxone that is in Suboxone that neutralizes other opiates. It only contains Buprenorphine. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you have an addiction problem, I strongly urge you to see a doctor and get proper medical help. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Vernon you do not know what you are talking about at all. Yes subutex blocks opiates just as well as suboxone. The bup which is in both med...

Does anyone other than myself have trouble with sleeping too long when taking Buprenorphine? ## Hello, Allan! How are you? Do you mean it makes you more tired/fatigued so you sleep more than usual? If so, that isn't uncommon. Buprenorphine is classified as an opiate, by the FDA, and that is a common side effect of such drugs, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. What dose do you take? It may be slightly too high for you. ## I usually just sleep a full 8 hours.

Just wondering if anyone has had bladder or kidney problems taking Subutex? I've been on it for roughly 3 years. Is it something in the Subutex? It's the big pills, not the little ones. Any info will help. Maybe the fillers. I don't know. I can't hold my pee at all. Please help. ## Hello Sub Girl Wen, I'm sorry to hear that you are having these issues. According to the NIH subutex is known to effect the bladder but what they have listed is urinary retention and urinary hesitance. In other words it is listed that subutex is known to cause users to not be able to completely empty their bladder, have weak streams, not be able to go at all or lose control over their ability to hold their bladder. I would suggest that if you believe your issues are related to your subutex...

Looking for a pharmacy in Jacksonville that has the 54/411 Subutex. I was getting them from Walmart but they went from $170 to $298. I get the small white ones with the arrow on them now but I don't think they are as good as the other. Any help would be appreciated. ## Hello Dylan, Sorry to hear about the price hike of your medicine. Unfortunately this is a rather tricky question to answer for a few reasons. Pharmacies do not like to advertise what brands/generics they carry as it raises their chances of being targeted by thieves who are looking to steal specific pills. This results in pharmacies being selective with how they give out information. Some pharmacies will tell you over the phone or in person but most will require you to be there in person with a prescription for that ty...

I'm looking for a pharmacy that can fill a prescription for Subutex near Jamestown TN. I can't find one around here that does. ## Hello Crystal, Unfortunately this is going to be a rather difficult issue to resolve. The reason for this is because pharmacies will often not tell you over the phone what kind of prescription medication they carry, this is to avoid aiding criminals who are attempting to steal certain drugs. This means that you will need to physically visit each location to see if they carry what you are looking for. In addition, without having your prescription in hand they might not tell you even if you are there in person, again to avoid giving criminals easy information. Other users have claimed that smaller mom and pop type pharmacies tend to be more willing to g...

Very trustworthy friend said 8mg subutex white round cherry flavored anyone heard of this? ## No, I just double checked and even the sublingual tablets, both the name brand Subutex and the generic all have markings on them, as required by law in the U.S. This law was put into place by the FDA many years ago for several different reasons. One is that if there is a problem with a certain medication, such as its found to be tainted with something, or to not contain any of the active ingredient, there needed to be some way to trace it back to the manufacturer that made it. And the other issue is that if someone is found unconscious with an unlabeled bottle of pills beside them, emergency personnel need a way to discover what the pills are, so they can provide proper treatment. Thus, prescri...

They are subutex. I went to Actavis' website and searched their products. Here is the link to the product page where you can find the orange oval 153 half moon pill: actavis.com/products/key-products/product-search Hope this helps and is proof instead of he said she said. ## Hello Mindy, Unfortunately your link doesn't actually take us to a page that has any direct information regarding the buprenorphine pill you are talking about. I have always found Actavis/Teva to have the most complicated website to navigate and thus I would rather just post information regarding this pill from the NIH and FDA directly. So below is all of the info I have grabbed from the NIH website directly regarding this pill. Clicking on the NDC link provided below will take you to a page with more inform...
