I also told the doctor about my deterating discs and was on pain me's and my primary put me on subutex and the suboxone broke me out in a bad hive and itched all over. So now it is a conspiracy in the Tri-Cities to make it just as hard as they can on bupe patients. I took my monthly rx to the pharmacy I have been doing business with for over two years. I was given a new manufactued bup, 8mg, and it makes me sick. I called them, day 3 of new rx still making me sick, and was told that the manufacturer of the one I've been taking for two years, Roxanne, doubled their price. They have them, but the price is double. I expect my physicians fee to go up to. I guess in their little meeting down town, the powers that be said "okay doctor. we'll do it your way. But it'll cost you. I've called pharmacies all over town for price check and I'm hearing the same thing. Some of them 'don't carry that anymore. Or, we are out right now. ...

I have used subs for years, but I don't have a prescription. I have been buying them through other means for almost 3 yrs now. I got pregnant in June of 2014 and tried weaning myself off. I got down to less than 1 mg a day and went into labor early. The baby didn't test positive for subs, but in the er I did. That caused family services to get involved. The baby is fine. I came off them completely when this happened. I was scared to death of losing my baby. She is now 4 months old and they finally followed up and came to my home and told me I had to drug test. I had slipped a few days before and knew I was going to test dirty. I did something so dumb! I decided to use someone else's urine and pass the test and be down with family services. I'm a great mom to all 3 of my ...

I just just picked up my pills and I didn't even Noticed it wasn't MY 54 111 lol. Now I only been on these's one's for only today so and I Love My 54 111 too so, What is Up with this? And Dose it Work the Same these's M 924? I been tried All Day and then Noticed my pills so is i me or Do these's SUCK? BUTT??? ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? Generic medications are normally manufactured by several different companies to create market competition and help keep prices as low as possible. Which one your pharmacy carries, at any given time, may change, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed to restock their supply. It is the same medication, in the same dosage, just maefaucted by a different company, which in this case is Mylan Pharma...

My friend got these pills that he thought were subutex. They are white, three sided, and have no imprint. They are very slightly debossed all the way around the edge on both sides. Any idea if these are some kind of subutex from outside the US? Thanks

I'm thinking about taking bentonite clay, but I'm worried it might affect my subutex which I'm taking 8mg/day. I heard bentonite clay can cleanse you're system of marijuana. I don't know if that's true, but it made me worry it might have an affect in the way my body processes subutex or if it will strip it from my receptors and put me into precipitated withdrawal. ## Hello, Sammy! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between them, but it's always best to double check with your doctor to be sure. The FDA classifies Subutex as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is ther...

I need a pain management doctor in Lake Charles Louisiana. Is there a list of them that will prescribe pain & aniexty meds ? Help please !! ## Hello, SurvivorAngel! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll not likely be able to have pain and anxiety medications prescribed by the same doctor. Which means, for your anxiety, you'd need to see a psychiatrist. And unfortunately no, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe. You have to set up appointment with new doctors, go to the appointments, make sure they receive a full copy of your current medical records and then discuss your treatment options. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regular that might be able to refer you to the approp...

i have lost my job and with that my insur. problem being that i have been on subutex for quite a few years and can no no longer afford them. HELP!!!! im at the point where it has been 4 days since i last took my medication and i feel like i am ready to die or turn back to pain meds, at least i can get them fronted to me please help i do not want to go down that road again. ## I'm sorry, but this site doesn't manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications, this is an information only website. I did try doing a search for assistance programs for this medication, but there aren't any available, which happens often with controlled substances. The only thing I can really advise is to go to the emergency room, if your withdrawals get too severe. Does anyone else have any advice ...

I'm pregnant and only take 1 mg a day of subutex for a year. I want to stop. its been 3 days and I can't sleep! I don't want to tell my dr cause I just want to quit. I'm so sick of feeling this way and being addicted. is it safe for me to quit cold turkey? ## Hello, Niki! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! No, it is definitely not safe for you to just stop taking it, while you're pregnant. While you may do okay, the withdrawal effects could be very dangerous for your baby and might result in miscarriage or stillbirth. Please, speak to your doctor about this, if you really feel you need to stop taking it, they can help you do so safely. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzines...

Im 37 weeks pregnant ive been on subutex since i was 5 weeks pregnant i take 16mg a day anyone have any info on how baby will do? Dr thinks she will be fine i have to stay in hospital for 4 days min w baby they want me to breastfeed yet plan to switch me to strips which i dont understand if strips arent safe while pregnant why is it ok while breastfeeding? ## Hello, Jess! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! :-) While you're pregnant, you basically need to operate on the premise that everything you take in is now going to affect two, rather than just you. Due to the fact that at this time you are actually carrying the baby inside your body, they are more directly affected by everything you do. However, it is different when breastfeeding, because not everything passes into your ...

Is it safe for a parent to be driving their children while taking subutex? ## It really depends on the person in question and how it affects them. If you read the warnings given for these types of medications, it states that you shouldn't drive or operate heavy machinery, until you know for sure how the medication is affecting you. If it causes a lot of drowsiness and dizziness in the person that's taking it, then no, they should refrain from driving. However, not everyone that takes it experiences such side effects and they also tend to wear off, over time, so if they do experience them, there may be only a short period of time, where it isn't safe for them to drive. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Legal in Tn if your prescribed to drive to & from dr unlik...

Hello i just found out i was having a baby i have bluecare insurance does anyone know a doc that prescribes subutex and takes my insurance and is in murfressboro tn please help ## I don't know how it is in TN, but judging by down here in GA, where I live and what I did when I found out I was pregnant and surprise surprise got laid off my job a week later. My best bet was to go get emergency Medicaid. And they would do anything to help you get off and stay off drugs, like they did for me. They paid for me to be in a private rehab center where they could monitor me and the baby and there were doctors and nurses there. So if suboxone makes withdrawal for and your child more bearable and safe, they'd probably have no problem with you having them since you'll be in a safe, clinic...

yes I need help having my medication filled. There is such a high demand of subutex in my area that the pharmacies are doing a a member ship programmer loyal customer program and they are turning people down and that's just not the same legal or ethical. I was just wondering if I could order you know I get a prescription and if I could send my prescription and just order them online. I like the big ones the 54 411 because the other ones just don't do well with me but if you have any ideas just let me know and thank you very much I appreciate it

I've been taking methadone for 10 years, I recently ran out of my prescription. Is it safe to take subutex or will it send me into withdrawals? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? You have to be in full withdrawals, before taking the Subutex. It contains the opiate Buprenorphine and it tends to cling to the opiate receptors very strongly and will displace most others, throwing you into precipitated withdrawals, which can be dangerous. The FDA warns that this medication may be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been on Subutex since April 8th - lowered from 8 yrs on Methadone in a week - last 6 yrs I was on 300 mgs of Methadone a day - went 3 days with nothing then started Subutex. Pill wouldn't dissolve so I swallowed approximately the last 1/4 of the mushed up pill - did the same 45 mins later. When into precipitated withdrawal, blood pressure (when fire dept finally found it after 4 trys) was 60/70, blood ox was 72, went hypothermic, convulsions and vomiting set in - EMT came and said there was no point going to hospital because they couldn't do anything to help - he was a total prick and told me if I made better life choices this wouldn't happen again - fireman snatched him up by his neck and told him to leave and he would take me if I wanted to go - it was a horrible ...

Will tramadol show up on a subutex urine test? I am in the subutex clinic and ran out so I took 3 tramadol. I've never taken them before so now I'm worried they will show up in my drug test. I took them 2 days ago so I'm hoping they will be out of my system or could the subutex cover the tramadol up?

Does anyone have any tips on treating the headaches that goes along with the suboxone? I have had chronic pain issues my whole adult life. I have been very surprised that the suboxone helps my pain very much. I just can't stand these headaches. ## Hello, Cj! How are you? I'm sorry about the headaches. Have you tried any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, if your doctor approves of you taking them, such as Advil or Aleve? Since you're on Suboxone, other narcotics won't work, but many people get relief with NSAIDs. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I 've been on subutex for about 6 months. Had a tooth pulled 5 days ago since I've takin 16 lorcett 7.5 some tylenol 3 and 3 trammadol I'm pretty sure in 24 hours it will be ok.. I wish I'd just stayed on the subutex my mouth still hurts like crazy but i want back on my subutex ## The Subutex only contains Buprenorphine, not the Naloxone that's in Suboxone, so you really shouldn't have to wait too long of a period of time. Learn more Subutex details here. However, I'd suggest checking with your doctor to be certain. Is anyone experienced in this area? ## You have to wait the same amount of time for both. The buprenorphine is what cause precipitated withdrawels not the naloxone which is useless and inactive because it can't compete with the bupe. Bupe has ...

i have been on subutek for 6 months now and just found out i am 6 weeks pregnant and im scared on what to do am i to try to quit the subutek or if i stay on them what are the laws in tenn for using subutek while pregnant? ## Hello, Rickie! How are you? Congratulations on the baby!!! Since you're pregnant, it is very important that you inform your doctor that you've been taking it, for the safety of both you and your baby. It is the preferred drug to be used during pregnancy and your doctor can help you make sure that you see someone who is knowledgeable about using it during pregnancy.
