No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I took 3/4 of subutex yesterday at 3 pm and the rest at 1/4 at 5 am im still in alot of pain how long before I can take a methadone ## That would depend on how much methadone. Subutext doesn't have Naloxin in it do withdrawls wouldn't be in your future. However subutext is more efficient if taken at the same time everyday, here's why. When you take it the sub builds up in your plasma and has a much longer life than methadone or other opiates. As it stays it builds up the plasma levels out, creating like a barrier for pain. Does that make sense to you? When the levels drop you start to feel more pain and eventually withdrawls if not continue and also if your building a tolerance which I have had issues with and never had with other opiates. Methadone wasn't for me. I was ...

Your prescriber should be able to advise you on the best way to d...
I ran out of subutex and took Methadone for a week. Approximately 80 mg a day, and the last few days 40 mgs. I have Subutex but I'm afraid to take it bc of the precipitated withdrawal. It's been almost 72 hrs. I'm feeling bad but also have a stomach virus so I don't know if it's withdrawal or if I'm still waiting for this stomach bug to move out. I've been sneezing like crazy, shaky and sweaty. I need to take my Subutex badly. I have 3 kids and I just waht to feel normal. ## Well no one replied but after waiting 72 hrs, I took 2 mgs of subutex. I still felt that icky withdrawal feeling. I waited and took 4 mg the next day, and was still a lil icky. After the 3rd day I started feeling a LITTLE better. After the 5th day I was back to normal. Thank God! I'll...
My boyfriend swallowed half of an 8mg subutex pill thinking you take it like a normal pill. What should I have him do? Should I give him the other half and have it dissolve under his tongue this time or should I only give him 1/4 to dissolve or do I not give him anymore yet. ## There is no harm in swallowing it, it just takes a little longer to start working that way than it does if you allow it to dissolve under your tongue, so there's nothing to worry about. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you so much for responding to my post! Y...
I have been taking subutex for about 7months now , before that I took suboxone for 2 yrs . I like the subutex a lot better not near as groggy and less headaches. I have been very careful about not getting pregnant and somehow it happened . I take half of an 8mg tablet 3 times a day but here recently since being pregnant it doesn't seem to be working as well , I realize I have a lot of extra blood flow and am assuming that's probably why. Also everytime I go to put them under my tounge within 2-4 mins the morning sickness kicks in and I throw everything up including the majority of the pill . Well it's 9 days till I get my next refill and I'm out and I don't know what to do. Should I call my Dr to see if I can refill early or what ? I guess I'm just afraid to ask ...
I have been using subutec for 7-8 months now, I decided I was well enough to try some Roxy 30s again, now 4 days after I'm deathly ill, can't stop vomiting. Nothing will stay down, what should I do?? ## Subutex will prevent other opiates from working, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you usually have to wait at least 3 days, before other opiates will work for you, again. The FDA classifies Subutex as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you didn't experience these symptoms until 4 days later, it is very doubtful that they are related to taking the Roxicodone, you may just have the flu or a virus...

I am currently prescribed Suboxone, but my doctor gave me 2 Subutex due to the lower cost. I do consume marijuana. I have tried dissolving a piece of Suboxone in clean urine before and the test showed up positive for opiates. Since Subutex is missing the opiate-blocker, if I use someone else's clean urine and sprinkle some Subutex in it will it show up for opiates? I know they test to see if Suboxone is in your urine, but do they test for Subutex also? ## They both contain the same opiate, Buprenorphine and would be detected as such if they are testing for it. It is actually the Naloxone in the Suboxone that isn't tested for on these tests. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Verwon, so if I did this the same results would appear?...
Can someone please post a picture of what one of these new subutex look like? Thanks... ## Hi Rob, I do find it odd that the manufacturer (Actavis) doesn't post photographs of their pills prior to releasing them on the market, as I think it just creates more confusion... But if you take a look at the following discussion thread, another visitor was kind enough to share a link to their own image of this orange oblong/oval subutex pill with a half moon on one side and the number 153 on the other: Discuss/orange-subutex-153-half-moon-pills-286895.htm?srcq=subutex+153 Hope this helps! ## <> with a half moon an 153 on other side ## You can Google 153 pill and it will show U all shapes and names of pills with 153 on them and I think it was the 2nd one pictured
I need help finding a subutex Doc in Texas!! I'm from Florida & moved here couple years ago & desperately want off Suboxine. Been on it almost 5 years & I can't stand it. I have multiple side effects I've felt with for years. I went 30 days cold turkey & couldn't take it anymore & had to go back to Doc to continue the medication. I have so many friends that recovered from Suboxine using Subutex!! It's Definitely not the same, & way easier to get off as far as the detox. My buddy did it in 3 weeks. I've gotten off Methadone & that was hell but couldn't handle the suboxine withdrawal. Years ago my Doc prescribed me with all these trap drugs & are the cause of all this & the years taken away from me. I would of never got on th...
I have been on subutex for 2 years and just got my prescription from the pharmacy and it changed to an oval orange half moon one side 153 on the other strength 8mg. I am curious if anyone has knowledge on these pills and there opinion I prefer the ones I'm use to which are small white pill made by hitech because they dissolve quickly. I have not taken any yet I would appreciate any feedback from someone who has switched to them or had feedback in comparison to other subutex pills thanks ## I also got the same pills from the pharmacy. and i also took the little white pills. I have taken my dose today and im not noticing any difference yet. But im really hoping i wont be dealing with any withdrawls from changing. these pills are also more expensive where im from, im not a happy camper...
I've been taken subutex for about a year and I've always gotten the 54 111 pills. And went to get my script filled and they have me the M 924 it made me so drowsy unlike the other ones I don't understand if they are the same pill just different manufacturers I w never get theses ones again THEY SUCK THEY MADE ME DIZZY AND TIRED ALL DAY UNLIKE 54 111 the make me feel normal maybe I'm just used to taking the other ones and have to get used to them I d go back until two I hope these side effects don't last the whole times ## Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allow to differ in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20%. Thus, these news one may be a little lower or higher in it, so you could be experiencing some withdrawal effects...
I was diagnosed with cirr(liver) in 2002. I have not touched alcohol since,by the grace of God! But now I am experincing a lot of pain from other things.so acouple of yrs ago i tried some street opiates .I can't do without them now. It was easier stopping drinking than stopping the use of these opiates. Someone had me try a subutex and I felt like it was a gift from God! I just really am begging for help!!!!!! ## Hello, Rhonda! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've had. You'll likely need to see a doctor that treats with Suboxone, then let them evaluate your health to see if you can safely take it, or if they need to put you on Subutex. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, This is a narcotic so it ...
I take the max dose of suboxone 8-3 3times a day with out much pain or anxiety relief. Is subutex better and is it ok for me to ask my doc to switch ## Hello again, Lorcos! The difference is that Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, while Subutex only contains the Buprenorphine. And under current DEA directives, unless someone has a serious allergy to the Naloxone, they must be prescribed Suboxone and Subutex is to be reserved for pregnant women. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you so much for your reply, It was truly very hel...

I had an allergic reaction to a medicine that I was prescribed for migraines and on Easter of 2009 I literally died. I flat-lined 3 times and was in a coma for 18 days. Then out of the grace of god a doctor came into my room in the middle of the night and decided to try to Eckmo (sp:) machine on me. IT WORKED! Thank goodness I did wake up and although I had to learn to eat, walk, speak, etc. all over again. All of my organs are 100%. But I ended up with horrible drop foot on both feet and we don't know why, but also horrible bilateral neuropathy. I have been through so many surgeries just so that my feet would actually work so that I could walk again, however we can't seem to control the pain of the neuropathy, because we don't know how I got it. Anyway, I was on 50 mg of th...
I have been on Subutex for a couple years. The doctor I have went nuts and told me he is closing shop and hates all his clients. Anyway he switched me to suboxone film for my last script. I have been on it for 4 days the 1st two days I didn't feel great but it was manageable and now yesterday and today I am so sick. I feel like a I am in full withdraw i tried taking more but it made it worst. I have no opiates in my system I have only taken subtext for years. There is nothing online showing why I would be sick with the switch. I tried calling the doctors office but I think he closed down. Or at least he is closed today. ## Kansas city no suboxen ?????? ## Hey Marissa, That doctor sounds like he just couldn't cope with the pressure of being in this profession. Sorry to hear that ...
