i had several surgeries and pain meds were not working.Every surgery was a disaster so I sought out a doctor and he prescribed suboxone when no one knew really alot about it.I have been on it for 5 yrs and it is given to me for pain.take 3xs a day as needed.Every year need prior authorization.I call I speak with doc and every year it is a hassle due to pple forgetting to do it.My daughter flipped out a hospital because she knows I suffer so doctor went to 28 day script to 30 day script I recieved a script on 1st of month can someone tell me is it 1st of month every month thank you ## This is honestly something you would have to confirm with your doctor, since the timing of refills and the amount given can be different on a case by case basis; at least from my own understanding. I was clean for a year and used heroin for about 2 months and quickly got on suboxone. The 2 months I used, I wasn't doing it every day, probably 3-4 times a week just doing 1 bag and would go 8-10 days a month getting clean for my suboxone UA. I've been clean for 80 days and possibly have a hair drug test for a job coming up this week. Do I have a good shot at passing it? I'm also going to get my hair cut down to an inch and a quarter prior to the test.

I have cps called on me all because a doctor had lack of knowledge about suboxone, it does not show up as an opiate he was confused stated i must be selling my medication all because no opiates were in my systom! so no it does not show up, in fact i called my sub doctor he was so furiated with doctors having such lack of knowledge, most doctors hear suboxone and think its methadone, they have to do a special test in order to see it in your systom i have been on this medication for 5 years and im honest about it, if i have to go to the e.r what not, and they test it never shows up never ever has, its a weird medication, it helps with pain and withdrawl ,...

I had a procedure done and was given 1 vicodin I am on suboxone and i had stopped 2 days prior to the procedure. Well it is all done and it was 7 to 8 hours ago i took the vicodin. Can i take my suboxone now or do i need to wait? ## Hi, Ashley! What did you end up doing? In that case, I'm not really sure how long you would need to wait and your doctor would probably be the best person to advise you. It doesn't seem that there would be a lot of withdrawal problems caused from someone taking just one Vicodin, but the human body can be funny and the Naloxone in the Suboxone can be tricky, so it's best to play it safe. I need help to see if I can figure out how to get my doctor to give me a script. I've been taking many Oxy 80's daily for the past 2 years. I am on 8mg sub film 2x daily. I still experienced precipitated withdrawls and I waited 54 hours before I started with the subs. It's now 2 days later and I feel very bloated. In addition it feels like I have butterflies in my stomach. It's very uncomfortable. Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do and how long does it last. Does the Company Actavis Elizabeth LLC offer any discounts or copay like the brand name Suboxon strips do?. I ask b/c the new white sublingual (half moon 155) pill, still cost more than the name brand sublingual films do. I cant use my $50 copay i use on the suboxone film. it comes out to be $130 more a month for this generic. I have stupidly miscounted my amount I suboxone I had left. (I usually go over 30 days with my prescription). Anyway, I called Friday to schedule my next appt and my doc is out of town for two weeks. They said they tried to call me but I never so much as got a voice mail. Just wondering if anyone knew if these can be found on the street. I don't even think I would even know where to look. I am in pain management and we get urine tests every so often. Today they said I tested positive for suboxone but I don't even know what that is. My meds include xanax, wellbutrin, effexor, lyrica, percocet, zanaflex tablet. I also take advil etc over the counter and nyquil. I'm prescribed to take 16mg Suboxone and iv only been taking 8mg and a body of mine dose the same thing but he goes through Kaiser and he takes a UA and has been for 2 or so years and they haven't ever said anything about it . Now I'm going to a suboxone clinic life line and I'm just wondering if they do level testing I get a UA every time before I see the doctor are they just testing for there to be suboxone in my system and that I'm not using anything else or are they testing my levels of Suboxone

If you're trying to wean off I would highly recommend visiting a pain management doctor or specialist as opposed to a regular MD, since they are generally less reluctant to prescribe the types of medications. Everyone, granted, has a different body and brain chemistry so no one patient can be held up as the shining example of "How Everyone Can Move Off Suboxone Withdrawal-Free" (in ten easy lessons). Every story is unique. Having said that, I would really appreciate getting data from those of you who (like me) have been on some form of opiate usage for 20 years and who is currently going through weaning himself off the suboxone over a two month period. My cousin has started using suboxone to get Off pain pills. I'm not really sure how long he has been on it but his girlfriend (April) is very anxious to see him cured of his addiction.He has to kids of his own and she has six counting one she has with him, do as you can tell neither of them had a choice it was either get him off the pills or give the children a hard time. I was unable to get any results from a saliva initial employment drug screen. I suffer from dry mouth as a result of taking 3 prescriptions daily. Does the prospective employer need to offer an alternative test method? I did not fail the test. Two test attempts came up inconclusive. Can I be denied employment for having dry mouth? ## Do you take suboxone? If you do then NEVER EVER take a drug screen orally. It will never be accurate. I have experienced this before myself. ask your doctor as well. My physician explained to me that only a urine, hair and blood is an accurate way. Blood being the most accurate especially for testing levels.
