I haven't taken any drugs lately but I did take a quarter of a 8mg suboxone strip this morning (saturday). I may now have to take a UA for probation come Monday, maybe Tuesday. What's the chance I'll pass? It seems to stay in your system from what I hear. Please help! ## Yes shows for 8 days or longer.....dry I got busted too.... ## Tomorrow morning at 8 am I am going to pain management doctor. I might have to take a urine test. I only took a quarter of a 2mg hence .5 mg this morning. I think it will show up from what I'm reading on the internet but if it doesn't I'll definitely post it tomorrow

Does Suboxone or Naproxen (Aleve) contain Aspirin or any other related chemicals that would cause an allergic reaction? I need to know asap. Thank you. ## Suboxone contains Naloxone and Buprenorphine and regarding Naproxen, that is the active ingredient, so no. Though it should be noted that Naproxen is also a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it is a related drug. However, the NIH does warn that if you are allergic to any given medication, there is a risk of finding more you are also allergic to, it's just the nature of human biology, so it is always best to be cautious, when taking something new. Has someone had a reaction to one of these medications?

I've been on Suboxone for 2 years and felt fine. Then the other day I broke out with hives and also my blood pressure was very high, and I couldn't breath good. Can I develop an allergic reaction after taking this drug for 2 years? ## Hello, Keith! How are you? Yes, our bodies do change with time, so it is always possible to suddenly develop an allergy that you haven't experienced, before. Have you experienced any other issues? The FDA lists other typical allergic symptoms as possible including swelling and trouble breathing.

I have a CDL to drive and have a job lined up. Can I pass the drug test while on suboxone/buprenorphine treatment? ## Hi, I have a CDL and get random tested. Been tested while on subs and have passed. I,m no expert but I think theres a specific test for Bup. In my case I,m pretty sure they were just testing for the usual crap not subs. ## Hey jolter, thanks a million for your prompt reply. I feel much better now about taking the drug/alcohol test. It is good to know that we can still pursue certain career moves while dealing with our disease. ## Hey jolter, thanks a million for your prompt reply. Ill try to keep this as brief and frank as i can while making sure to be accurate... Im sort of groggy at the moment.... Let me start by saying, I had taken pills among other things recreationally as a teenager.. never developed an addiction but taking pills was nothing new or unknown to me but I had stopped from the age of about 16-22 because I watched it destroy those around me... Okay, so in 2012 (22 years old) I began taking small doses of oxycodone (unprescribed) to self medicate severe chronic pain. I started taking a quarter of a 30mg pill (7.5mg dose) and would feel relief of pain as well as euphoria. I did not take it daily but the use was somewhat regularly. It wasnt until early 2013 that I began to feel an "attachment" to them although not yet physically addicted. By ...

I have suffered from opiate addiction for about 15 years. After about 4 years of different narcotic & benzos pills, my family finally intervened & a long-term rehab (about 1 year) helped me. I stayed sober almost 6 years. But since I relapsed 7 years ago (long story), I have had a lot of trouble & been on (& for brief times off) a downward spiral. I have now lost almost everything & my family now wants nothing to do with me. I have so little hope & even thought of suicide. I have been getting methadone pills (off the street) for over a year now. Every time I try to stop I find by the 3rd, 4th day I am in too much agony & pick up again. These on & off attempts have been going on for 4 months. After a few days without, I go back on, taking between 2-3 10mg ...

My doctor's office has just started doing mouth swab drug testing to see if im taking my prescription adderall, and I was wondering if the suboxone shows up on these tests, and if they can tell the levels of suboxone in your system from the mouth swab test? ## They just started the same with me.cut my test always show a blue cooler, don't no what that means.d ## The test is for suboxone and they just see to send it to a lab ## They just started the same with me.but my test always show a blue cooler, don't no what that means. ## The blue Color just means that you have enough Saliva on it to be able to test...my doctor's do the same with me... I haven't taken my Suboxone in like 4 days.. but if I take one in the morning Do you think it will show up on my test at 2:00pm t...

Broke my back, broke my hip, both legs broke and my shoulder pain is through the roof. I need help. I live in Calgary. PLEASE HELP ME. ## Hi Cindy Lee, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through, unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe. That is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my opinion, is to discuss up front and h...

I have been on Suboxone for several years. For me it's been a wonder drug. I had been on the high powered pain meds for years, but no longer wanted to take them. I was put on Suboxone and it helps me with the pain, without the side effects. My doctor got busted for over presribing, not to me, but to others. Now I'm totally out and can't find a doctor that will write it for me. I live in Walker, LA and it's been a nightmare trying to figure this out.

I recently tested positive for opiates at my PO office. I did not take any opiates but I did take a suboxone film the night before. Can the ua test false positive for opiates? I was taking oxycodone about 90 mg a day and ran out. A friend gave me 3 fentanyl 50mg patches which I use for 5 days, I've been clean now for 54 hrs. Have had sweats and chills some leg cramps and restlessness. As well as diarrhea. About an hour ago I took apprx 1mg suboxone. I am very fearful of precipitated withdrawals. I feel no difference yet. Is it safe to take more suboxone? ## Hello, Storm! How are you? What did you end up doing? Before taking Suboxone, you need to be in full withdrawal from everything else, otherwise there is the risk of experiencing the dangerous precipitated withdrawals. Thus, you may have been taking it a bit too soon. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit f...
