Not everyone that has a sulfa allergy has a reaction to every variation of sulfa, so it is really difficult to know what you may or may not react to, but...

If I take 1/4 suboxone strip and a 60mg vyvanse, will it make me sick or sweat a lot? ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications. Has your doctor prescribed them both? The Naloxone in the Suboxone only neutralizes other narcotics. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As to the Vyvanse, since it is a stimulant, it may cause sweating, along with the risk of being habit forming and causing other side effects, such as nausea, headache and irritability. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Does suboxone intensify lisdexamfetamine after taking lisdexamfetamine or will the suboxone weak...

Hi all. For 5 years I gradually increased my oxycodone use. I have a degenerative back disorder. The pain is there but I used oxycodone as a crutch. It got worse and worse from 2 5 mg a day to 3 to 5 and ending in 2 30 mg a day costing me 100s of dollars a month. I finally reached out to my psychiatrist who set me up with a suboxone doctor. I took my last 7.5 oxycodone at 2 pm yesterday. Dr said to wait 12 hrs as did alllll the Internet info. I was sick in w/d by 8pm. Was scared to death of this nightmarish precipitated w/d I read about. At 8:30 pm I took 2 mg suboxone as the dr said to start with. Omg I was feeling better. 10 pm another 2 mg and I was AMAZED at how I felt. I didn't sleep very well BUT I'll take that ANYDAY over wondering how to get the next oxy. This morning I ...

I have narcolepsy and was taking Suboxone strips. I got tons of energy but my insurance stoped covering them and switched me to this generic white pill with N8 on it and an arrow on the back. It gives me no energy ??? ## Has it been prescribed for this use? That's not something it is normally used for, since its possible side effects can include nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness, according to FDA reports. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Are you on any other medications? Did your doctor ever have you try an amphetamine, such as Adderall? ## Hi can you tell me what kind of pharmacy gave you that kind because I get suboxone and I’d like to get that kind filled and try them plz and thanks

Hey... I just got a suboxone and by the markings it is supposed to be an 8/2 mg suboxone, but there was no image available on the internet. It has an N 8 on the front... and an arrow in the back. I've seen this question already asked a few times, but I got confused by your answers. Thanks. ## Mike, If it's a 8 and arrow on reverse its subutex 8mg. If not the possibilities are endless. If you received these from a legit source it should come with product insert information. If not I wouldn't risk taking something that can cause severe withdrawals if not taken as prescribed. Good luck ## The tablet with the N8 on, with the logo on the opposite is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, ...

My husband was on 32 mg of methadone and has waited 96 hours to start his Subutex. During these 96 hours he has taken a total of ten 30 mg Oxycodone's. He took 4 mg of subutex this morning and was withdrawing about an hour after this dose. he took about three more milligrams of Subutex and he is sweating & saying he doesn't feel right. He has waited for about 14 hours in between the last dose of oxycodone and Subutex. Should he take two more milligrams to ease symptoms or should he wait it out? ## Stacsanny Well subutex contains no NALOXONE so the presence of this would not cause pws. No doubt he is stil withdrawing from the methadone. By administrating other powerful opiates are only prolonging this syndrome .If he intends on using subutex as an oa protocol it should be und...

Im on suboxone and being treated for an infection with batrim. Will both still work properly or cancel each other out? ## I didn't find any problems or interactions listed, but it's always best to double check. But it should be fine, unless your doctor has some concern. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Bactrim as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Suboxone is an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes they can be taken together. Like the other post said bactrim will eat up your stomach pretty bad so take with a glass of milk or food ## Do you have any good ideas on the ...

I tried taking a suboxone 2 days after my last dose of methadone but am now in withdrawal. Can I take methadone now to bring me out? ## @JD To my knowledge there shouldn't be a problem with taking methadone "after" suboxone. Apparently if it's the other way around (suboxone "after" methadone), only then would you have to wait it out for several days in order to avoid being put into immediate withdrawals. I've also seen comments from other patients going from suboxone to methadone within a 24 hour period who said that they were completely fine and didn't experience any problems with sickness or withdrawal. But if you have personal experience going through this process that may be any different from what I've witnessed, please do post your feedback on t...

Could I be at risk of dying from 2mgs of Suboxone if I haven’t taken painkillers in a long time? Help me, I’m scared af to sleep. I know I’m stupid. ## Moose123, Before I get into too much detail of the drug I should ask a few questions first. Was the suboxone prescribed to you? If so have you ever taken suboxone previously so that you know you aren't allergic? If I were to assume that this medication was prescribed to you and that this is not your first time taking suboxone (based on you saying it's been a long time since you previously took painkillers) I would say that the only way I can see you dying in your sleep from taking this medication is an allergic reaction that you suddenly developed. According to the NIH there is no warnings or reports that I can ...

You people have no idea about how subutex/suboxone works. 1 you don't need to wait anymore than 24 hours to start subs if using H. 2 subs are both agonist and antagonist so once you reach a certain dose they effectively block out any other opiate/opiod that you try to use. 3 taking other opiates/opiods while on subs will NOT make you sick, you just won't feel their effects due to the subs blocking properties. 4 subs are not the magic bullet for addicts as you also become dependent on them and after being on subs for a while you will find that coming off them is VERY difficult and extremely long winded, the best you can hope for is to taper down to the smallest amount you can (I'm taking crumbs here; break your pills into small pieces when you want to get off them) but even d...

Iv been on Suboxone for almost 2 years now , and iv tried every single manufacturer you can think off, starting from the very first orange oval shape ones which are the original ones not generic ones , from that to strips ,an415 orange round , white round moon imprint to, white round lemon lime ones to bupes, which are the small round ones and have a 8 logo on the front and a arrow logo on the back , and in my opinion those are the best ones because they have no naloxone in then just 8 mg of buprenorphine, those ones work the best but they are not given out much because or abuse, I am on the round peach ones right now imprint 54 375 and they are working perfectly for me , as a matter of fact they work really good for me way better then the white round ones with the imprint if moon on th...

I take suboxone 12/3 mg once a day. Can I take one 100 mg morphine sulphate with it once a day? ## Hi Rob, According to umm.edu, suboxone shouldn't be taken with any opioids (i.e. morphine), since it can block its effects and potentially send you into immediate withdrawals - accompanied by a number of undesirable side effects such as increased anxiety, insomnia, nausea, difficulty breathing, sweating, cramps, etc. Having read that, it sounds to me like the wisest thing to do would probably be to contact your doctor about alternative ways to manage your pain in the event that suboxone 'or' morphine doesn't get the job done on their own. Some feedback I've read in other threads here even recommend trying methadone over suboxone; stating that it works better for their p...

Has anyone noticed that the 8-2 sublingual strips have not been working as well for the last 3 months? Well they recalled them about 10 days ago! I noticed they were lighter in color and some of them were starting to crack. Help! ## Have you informed your pharmacy? In most cases you have to return to the source in order for a recall issue to be handled and to receive a replacement. For example, if you own a Ford and they issue a recall, you have to take your vehicle to a Ford dealer in order to receive a repair, or replacement. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. orange hexagon shaped pill stamped with N8 ## WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS TO THIS DRUG ## I found this pill orange hexagon shaped pill stamped with N8? What is this pill used for? ## I believe this pill is used for heroine addicts to help with withdrawals. ## what is the name of this hexagon shaped orange pill stamped with N8? ## The correct ID of this pill is Suboxone, which contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine and 2mgs of Naloxone. Suboxone is an opiate used to help treat drug addiction and in some instances, cases of severe pain when other options have been exhausted. You cannot get high from it, plus since it contains the Naloxone, it will prevent you from getting high off of other narcotics while you are under Suboxone treatment. The side effects are similar to other narcotics and can incl...

I Have been taking some form of opiates since I was 15. Im 29 years old now. I started with vicodin then graduated to percs. Soon after that I was 18 and taking oxicodin. When the oxies just weren't enough anymore I began to take H. I took H for about 2 years on and off and then was told through a friend about subxone. After 7 years being on subxone I finally realized, I had a major problem. My problem was me. I needed off the subxone so bad. I had already been to treatment 3 times in my life. Once for the vicodine ,once for the oxycodone once and for the H. I haven't gone back to any of those since. Once at treatment for the 4th time I felt ashamed to be there. But all I knew is I was done and didn't want to ever go back to any mind or mood altering substance ever again. On...

I'm trying to find the manufacturer actavis for Suboxone 8m.g. 2m.g. in Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, VA., I took these when I first started taking them and I was fine. Now they've switched me to amneal, I think, it's an orange round pill. I can't take this, I get so sick, migraines, nauseous, constipated it's not working as well, sometimes my back hurts so bad, I hate to even think it, but I feel like taking something for my back. ## What are the markings on them? Can you please post back and clarify? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## Do you still get the Amneals? Or did you get switched?

My girlfriend takes Suboxone and recently the pharmacy has switched brands. They are orange, slightly smaller and have 970 on one side. I think she is having terrible SE from them. Under her tongue is raw so bad. Also hot flashes. Severe. Head to toe she gets soaked! This seems since the pharmacy changed pills. Has anyone had these symptoms? ## Yes!! These new orange Sun Pharma 970 are awful! I was unfortunate to get some of those with my last script. I hated them so bad I searched over 7 pharmacies in towns an hour away just to find the Amneal AN 415 orange ones again this past Saturday for my months script. Thank goodness i found a pharmacy with just enough to fill my whole script so I wouldn't have to take any of those other kind. I am a self pay patient so I can usually switch w...
