has anyone come down from suboxone slowly with no ill effect? ## yes ,i was on 115 mgs of methadone @ swithed to suboxone,it was much easier to ween down from sub than methadone,i'm on 4mgs,down from 16 mgs,it's a good treatment and you must ween down slowly,2mgs every 2 weeks,no sickness,that wasn't the case with methadone. ## Suboxone is very popular for this very reason, a slow taper makes it much easier to get off and stay off drugs. ## i am down to one suboxone a day now after being on three for about 6 months...i cannot afford it anymore so i plan to be weened on in a month or so...should i split my films in half for 2 weeks then to 1/4 ? will that help with withdrawal symptoms....i am scared of the symptons cause i work and go to school and do not want to be or feel s...

I have been on Suboxone since 2007 and it has always done wonders for me I started out on it for Opiate Addiction But am now on it for Pain management and they said I would be on it for the rest of my life. But Recently I have been getting bad pains in my side where my liver is and it makes my tongue raw and my throat swell, So I had Blood work done and found out that I am Positive for Hep C. Will this allow me to be switched to Subutex instead of Suboxone? I am prescribed 16mg of suboxone films per day. Recently my baby was diagnosed with a red and yellow dye allergy. Seeing how the films are orange I'm assuming there must dye in them. I have cut things out of my diet in cycles to come to this conclusion. I was a chronic orange soda drinker and when it finally came to cutting that the rash my baby was getting went away for a couple days but now is back but milder, maybe because the only dye I'm consuming is frim my suboxone? Does anyone know of any doctors in the Chicago area currently prescribing low doses of opioid pain medications? Something like 10-325 Norcos, 20mg-30mg oxycodone IR, 15mg-30mg MSIR or even Suboxone? I broke my back over a decade ago. I recently herniated another disc at L4 and am experiencing terrible pain that shoots all the way down my left leg and into my foot. I’ve been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease and am also experiencing narrowing of the spine at L4, L5. I used to be on tons of these kind of medications and was weaned down on my own choice, but the pain has become unbearable and I need to be able to work. I did a regular urine screen at my pain doctor's last month and this month my new nurse practitioner said it tested positive for Suboxone ! I did not even know what it was ! I did just start taking Buspar, could that have caused a false positive ? I have been going to that practice for 7 years, I have never had a bad urine screen before ! Hi all, first time posting. Thanks for reading. I have been on suboxone (will call SB bc I don't like "bupe" or "subs"... they just sound like using talk to me and I'm trying to avoid that, nothing against anyone, just my thing...) So today I woke up, took my spironolactone, wellbutrin, abilify, adderall, provigil, and 2mg SB bc I'm trying to taper off. Then I remembered I'm out of the armor thyroid that I switched to about 6 months ago, so I took my levothyroxine. I then took 2 tylenol, had black coffee, green tea with splenda, and toast. A couple minutes later I used the off brand monostat for a yeast infection I'm sure I have, but haven't been to the md yet, and some hydrocortisone. It also depends on how much suboxone you take., however most people take suboxone for opiate addiction. Normally you would have to wait at least 24 hours after taking 1 suboxone to take any type of narcotics. Otherwise the suboxone will block the narcotics and you will not get any relief from the pain pill. But in no way shape or form should you mix the two. You could get very I'll or die. I am being drug tested for cps and I am on suboxone, adderall, klonopin and gabapentin. It's showing up on the drug cup as methamphetamine and mdma, but my suboxone and other meds are not showing up. My friend is sick from opiate withdrawal. He bought what I am told is suboxone - but there are no pictures of this pill in google images It is white and round not oval or hexagon N8 is imprinted. I got off my subs for a month and went back to full antagonists thinking I was gonna have gall bladder surgery. I can't take the opiates anymore so I went back to my subs two days ago after being on methadone for about two weeks.
