Suboxone Withdrawal 2017

My one year of zubsolv is done 7/1/17. I am terrified and need to taper and quickly. Where do I start ? How can I do this? I have and my 8 year old to care for. Husband passed and only living parent. I want to be a good mother. I only take the zubsolv. I realize now I have been fooling myself.

I do want to add a note of caution to anyone who may be considering stopping such a medication cold turkey, after taking it for a long time. The FDA warns that it could create a risk of dangerous seizures, along with fever, chills, vomiting, dehydration, headaches, and body aches. Thus, it is always best to taper off such a medication slowly, with medical assistance.
Roxanne, how did it go? Are you doing okay, now?
Thank you kindly for responding. You make me feel so much better. I NEEDED an optimistic approach if I'm to do this. I did find a site "how to get off Suboxone without withdrawals"that seemed to be helpful. Start tapering off, DLPA, other vitamins/natural herbs + exercise. It sounds in line with what you said.
It's not as bad as people would have you think. You will feel bad for a couple of weeks. And it will be hard to sleep. But you can find something at the drug store that will help you get by the hard parts. But it's not as bad as you think.
