Suboxone Stomach Problem

Hi all, just finishing my first month on subs. Doing good except for two problems one of which is constapation. The other is more difficult to explain. I'm eating much better which adds more to the constapation problem. What works best for that? Some thirty years ago some of my vocal cords were paralyzed and being as the subs dissolve right there above them. It seems alot of the mefs stick to them n I have to taste that for hours afterwords. Does anyone else have a similar problem. I want to keep talking them, I been fighting this problem for many years. Any n all help is appreciated.

Have you spoken to the prescribing doctor? There are other formulations you can try, such as tablets, or a liquid solution. They might agree to prescribe a different one for you if you let them know what's happening.

I can't imagine having to deal with a horrible taste for hours, one of my blood pressure medications tastes disgusting, so I hate when I get even a little taste of it. LOL

The FDA warns that Suboxone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dry mouth, dizziness, and constipation.

As to the constipation issue, what have you tried for it? When I was taking opiates for pain, I found that a fiber supplement is what worked best for me, but I don't know if is safe for you try one, or not.

What types of foods do you eat? Do you keep your diet high in fiber?
