Well, I have been on subutex and suboxone for about 4 months. I just found out im 2 1/2 months pregnant. This is my 2nd child and with the first I got on subutex, but it was through a detox center. Does anyone know a subutex doctor that takes insurance in south florida?

Most doctors in Citrus County, FL that prescribe Suboxone are full or dead, totaling about 2 doctors! Thousands of patients are suffering. I have Medicaid with MMA, United Healthcare. Can't find anyone.
I can't find a Dr. to help me in my area. I'm sick and miserable. I need a good suboxone doctor in Okeechobee, Florida. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
I was seeing a doctor they told me if I get pregnant. They have to switch me to subutex. And they do take Medicaid(Staywell and I think Magellan) but not hard to call n switch your insurance to different Medicaid comp if have to. But name of place is clear path center. They have one in St.Petersburg and Tampa. And have to go every 7 days but they will work with you. It takes me 2 hrs just to get there but I live in Oakland fl. Central part. Hope this helps you hung.
I was seeing a doctor, but a family emergency made me screw it up. I've been taking 2 1/2 a day for months now. I need to find a doctor fast that takes Staywell Medicaid in Florida. I only have 2 left, trying to manage with it but I already feel bad and very irritable. Cutting little pieces n trying to make it last. I'm scared. But I have another issue, I have to have my marijuana. So I need a doctor that doesn't check for it or just doesn't care. The way I'm feeling though I might just have to screw that for a bit so I can get my Suboxone. I don't care how far I have to go to get there. Preferably one time a month for visit and not weekly, but it doesn't matter at this point. If anyone can help with doctors that takes Medicaid please please please let me know. Thank you.
I'm looking for a Suboxone Doctor in or around Destin Florida that accepts Medicaid insurance. Please let me know if anyone can help me!
Congratulations Tara. Hope all works out for you.
Hello, Tara! How are you? Congratulations!
The best thing to do would be to see an OB Gyn and have them refer you to someone that is familiar with treating pregnant women, that way you can ensure the best possible outcome for you and your baby.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?
