Suboxone How Long Should Wait To Take

hi i have been on methadone treatment for couple months i was at 80 mg a day but brought myself down to 60 for a week and couldnt make it to clinic because of money and car problems the last day i went to clinic was sunday wed i was feeling little sick and got coulple subs from friend figured 72 hrs was long enough to wait to take it well lets say i was wrong and sent me into pre w/ds it was horrible welll thur i took 45 mg of roxy to take edge off now it is fri do u think it is safe to take the sub yet for the w/d without geting sent into pre w/ds ty for any responses

To properly take Suboxone and avoid having it throw you into withdrawals, you already have to be in them, when you take it.

They aren't real bad I have been taking a couple roxy everytime starting feel bad since I got sent into the pee w/ d from the suboxone but I don't want keep taking them just trying keep edge off from methadone w/d till the methadone out system I still have some subs to switch to to ween myself with but after that episode we'd I'm scared to take them but I can't keep taking pills everyday I'm over it whole reason went to methadone in first place but don't want be on it anymore either I've used subs before to ween myself off pills before starting one day after last dose with no problems but trying it after the methadone 72 hrs later was a very bad mistake. Ty for responses

okayyy i was going to the methadone clinic since the end of feb. i am on 38 mg now for about a week. monday was my last day at 38. i cant make it back, now i have some suboxin. I just dont know when i should take it. I ate a 30mg roxy to take the edge off yesturday but i am feeling like crap now. When is it okay to eat this suboxin?

I would say to be on the safe side, 92hrs, or you will go into pre withdrawal, n it's so much worst than regular withdrawals. I've been on meth fir 7 years. Speed going on 18mgs- couldn't take the long lines n all the bs. I'd b there my whole morning. So I saved some of my meth bottles n bought 10mg meth pills n weend myself of like they do in detox, which I kno how they do it cuz I've been to many. After I did that I felt gd the first day but couldn't sleep Sooo took ambien or trazadone to sleep. Then a took 8 mgs sub the 3rd day off meth for 4 days n then I was fine the rest is in your head. You gta get up na fir a drive you'll see the rest is mental

I will absolutely agree with u. I just stopped the methadone clinic last dose of 90 milgs monday at 10am waited till fri...just couldn't take it anymore. So I took 4 milg was, scared that I was gonna end up in pre w/d but no its not a walk in the park but know pre WD they say it takes time for the acting bupe to build up in our bodies so I took 4 milgs every couple hrs. And today is a little better. a couple of sweats here and there and a little stomach pain but nothing as what I thought, everyday better and better..

Bs 72 hrs did not put u in withdrawal, ur body needs a day or 2 to adjust to suboxone. You won't feel high off sub's. I've done it all. I took a sub 12 hrs after opiates and i felt s***ty, but day 3 i went back to work. You have a weak mind, sorry man just telling u the truth. Subs r strong, mabey u didn't need the sub but 72 hrs no way did u go into prewithdrawal. Perks and Vic's destroy your liver, subs do not. You have to go through a little pain before they work but it has saved my life and freedom. Those who play must pay.

How long do i have to wait to take a suboxone strip after i took 25mg of methadone? I usually take subs everyday but i had gone w/o suboxone for 3 days so i took a 25mg methadone drink... I dont want to go into precipatated withdrawal!!! Somebody help

This is the most idiotic and irresponsible information I have read in a long time. Everyone metabolizes opioids at different rates, so going into PWDs after 72hrs is easily plausible. Moreover, weak-mindedness has nothing to do with it. Please educate yourself before commenting in the future.
