Suboxone Films Stuck To Your Teeth
(Newest replies first)

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with suboxone films sticking 2 your teeth ? Sometimes, when I put the film under my tongue, it won't go in right and sticks 2 my teeth. So, I'm trying 2 fix it properly and the film is wet, it then sticks 2 my fingers. It's like wasting half the darn film. Anyone else experience this?

When you use fixadent, the film seems to absorb into it. I have found when this happens, I do not get the same pain relief. I have taken my dentures out at the end of the night and the film is still there! If i scrape it off, nothing is left to chew on. What do i Do? I can't leave my dentures out all day everyday. I do not take it only 2x a day.
YES!! SO MUCH SO! It seems like I brush my teeth extremely good, still there! My doctor told me it's a "dental issue". My dentist says. It's a medical issue...perhaps a sinus infection.....BS

There really isn't going to be a huge difference in absorption if it sticks to your teeth and dissolves elsewhere in the mouth. You are still going to get the medication into your body. Thus, unless your doctor advises otherwise, it may be best to just not try to fix it, when this happens and let it dissolve where it is.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
Hey Cats, The films get messy. I use a mirror when possible and sometimes it still gets all over the place. I found out the hard way not to touch the films once they get wet.
